Josh Smith is incredible. Chicken picking to jazz tone with a single change on the amp or guitar. What a show.
Agreed... I wish he would come out with a new instrumental album. Amazing skillz
Agreed. J. Smith is stellar & is touring with Mr. Bonamassa now, I think. 🤘🏻
Superb sound, guys.. really. Great NAMM coverage as well!
Josh Smith playing Milkman amp! How cool is that! Thanks guys!
Incredible playing by the man Josh Smith! Definitely fancy one of these Milkman's...
Brilliant review and commentary as usual!!!
Everything built by hand. That's pretty awesome!
Great amps, brilliant play by Josh, bought his "Still" which is superb!
Love Milkman! In the same very clean vein as Milkman, it would be cool to see a video on Creation Music Company Amps and Pedalboards. They have a very nice Milano big, clean amp as well as a cool new pedalboard design (cross between a boutique wooden pedalboard thing and aluminum structure like a Pedaltrain). They're downstairs in Hall E - visited them yesterday at NAMM and their hardwood walnut 50 watter clean amp kills!
Josh has some damn cool chops!
Josh on the Pedal Show?? Can't wait!
i think this 50 watt amp is f**kin amazing!
If you could have gotten Kirk and Josh on this video, I would have cried!!!! Awesome!!
Josh - missing the Tchula on this demo
Yeah, that pedal seems to be fantastic.
Josh sounds great through anything.. Let's not forget, an amplifier only amplifies what goes into it.. if you suck, an amp is just gonna make suck louder..
What are the brands on those guitars in the back there?
Looks really cool :)
I wanted to ask the same question :)
Rock N Roll Relics.
Is that the name of the brand?
Thanks for the info
Chibson
that DC junior behind them is calling to me...
i feel you...do you know what brand of guitars it is in the background?
found it...gotta be rock n roll relics....really cool, but way above my price range.....
How about a three channel Tres Leches?
Gus's Fried Chicken hat ... Memphis represent.
Call the footswitch the "Udder buddy"
Dan standing over Josh’s fretboard like a stalker. ( i would’ve as well 😉)
The fire alarm must be broken when he played that
The buttermilk
So he was in the "Dheiry" business?
'I hate Tremolo' lols
Jeez, those Milkman amps are so damn nice, but so expensive. Tim makes a little 1 watt amp that is on my wish list, but at $1600 I just can't justify it. If I was Fender guy through and through, I'd get his 50W amp for $3100 and be set.
If a guy is a "fender Guy", why not just buy a fender? rather than a derivative of a fender amp that most likely will have no resale value if you decided you wanted to sell it and get the real thing, a fender..
Eddie Parker arguably, the closest thing in the Fender world to a Milkman is unfortunately an original 50s/60s that will set you back the same if not more..with the milkman at least you get the advantages of modern build and reliability plus upgrades and customer support...so you gotta pick your battles with these sorts of comparisons
Exactly. While people rant and rave about the exclusive virtues of vintage gear, a lot of modern amp builders have exceeded the classics with updated renditions of those great vintage amps. There's nothing quite like that 50W amp in the vintage Fender lineup. If I had the money, I'd have a couple of his amps.
"Dairy heir"
You know they say ''judge not lest ye be judged'' but the captain looks different.
He is really milking those puns... I'll be here all week.
Dairy heir lol :D
offer free shippon ;)
Josh doesn’t play with effects too well
Those British jokes...*facepalm*
Out of puns? sounds like he's been milked.
It was the cream of the crop.
Those amps are so un-innovative that it's kinda sad. There's no point in companies like this even existing, as the baby-boomers are dying out, along with their obsession with "vintage" tones. Modern generations mostly don't give a crap about "vintage" style gear.
