The more you guys learn about Michael's real life, the more you'll understand why it's the saddest thing ever. This world used him up and spit him out when they were done. Anytime I watch any documentary about him I end up crying for him.

People used to literally pass out when they saw him. I can’t think of any artist today that that happens to LOL.
The only other artists I’ve seen videos of fans passing out is Janet and Beyoncé

I didn't hear him say he didn't like tours, just hated traveling. And he loved his fans., but he hated the industry. Called Sony the devil.
He gave more money to charities than any other artist ever!
Nope not just traveling like he is sayin in this vid he could not sleep speaking of jet lag (as U know was suffering from insomnia which came from his childhood trauma). So his insomnia was getting worse and worse. His body could not regenerate cuz of tight schedule of these tours. (that was the main problem of TII tour also) U know this kinda concert he gave is a very intense and exacting performance. He strengthened His body since age of 5 like a professional athlete. Actually he doesnt have any kinda fat on his body only muscles. He was so so strong like no one could imagine who never met Him or knew Him. It was scary a bit sometimes:)))like when he was so angry he thrown mobile phones, bottles (wine he drank) or any kinde stuff he could grap away...but even his handshake was massive..

I totally understand where's he's coming from. Global travel will wear you out. I use to love to fly and take trips. For example I once flew to Australia from London. I left on Wed, and got there on Friday. Over 20 hours in the air with a six hour stop in Hong Kong, something like 12 hours in time zone changes. When you get there you need at least 48 hours to get in sync with local time. Now imagine getting there and doing a concert 12 hours after you get there, a high energy MJ concert! You see what I mean? Then you leave Australia and go do a concert in say South America. Yeah, I totally get it. 😎

I can dig what MJ is saying. Imagine Dragons basically toured for ten years straight and it took a huge toll on them and their families. They eventually had to cut back and shorten tours and take breaks for a year or two.

new generations can see MJ performance, listen to his music , sing his songs , but it will be difficult for them to know or figure out MJ magnitude and how famous, influenced and a changer he was , simply the most famous person on planet earth..
Unfortunately his demise, having to be medicated to sleep due to the stress and pressure he felt while preparing for the upcoming tour. So sad, the industry put such high demands on him to be perfect and we just wanted him to be himself.
You need to remember he had been on tours since he was a kid , you spend more time doing rehearsals & planning, & on the road going - from point A to point B then doing the actual concert .

I'm not sure if you guys have done reactions to MJ's song called "Ben" when he was little. I loved that song when I was a kid in the 70's. I believe it was about a pet, like a pet rat. He was multi talented & I've loved everything he's done. He was quite the jokester, too. Thanks for sharing that interview & great reaction. He's got multiple interviews that are really interesting; one in particular was with Oprah & he was telling her how afraid he was of his dad & his siblings were scared too. Janet's song, "Control" was written because of their father. MJ would be so scared, he'd literally get sick to his stomach when he heard his dad wanted to talk to him. Those kids had it bad & Joe Jackson rode them like crazy. Joe Jackson would stripped them of their self esteem & would yell at them & say they could do better. He was evil if you ask me!!!! 😎👍🏼☮️❤️
29 August, his birthday. At 10 yrs old he was with his Brothers auditioning for Motown. Before that they already started their musical path, MJ was around six yrs old i think. When MJ was 12- 13 yrs old the Brothers were already touring in US. And so on. MJ was a global phenomena when he started touring solo, You can find all kind of videos in YT how he was received by dignitaries in some countries he was touring. Japan, South Korea, UK, Russia, Romania, and so on. He was beyond an entertainer. Everything You see in his shows was his creative imput, the lights, effects, the toaster, the costumes, etc. Every short movie he made, he had the creative imput. The storytelling through singing and dancing, the shows were literally like a musical theatre. MJ is unique.

I was 18 and hitting the dance clubs when the 'Thriller' album dropped. Whatever was going on with other songs and the dance floor STOPPED when a Michael Jackson song STARTED. The dance floor and its patrons became electric. There was nothing else and no one else like him. Michael Jackson was magic.

Michael's impact on us fan was like no other. No artist to this day will ever have the fans who endearingly love them the way we love him. The magic he gave us was too real and too unspeakable.
Another story was told by one of his former managers (when he already was a FORMER manager). A couple of days before a concert Michael Jackson visited a children’s home. This was in the 90ies. The place was in an abysmal state. Beds were dirty, there was not enough furniture and so on.
Jackson was given a tour of the place. After the tour had finished, a visibly shocked Jackson took his manager aside and whispered into his ear: no matter how much it costs, get this place fixed up. I’m not going on stage before this place has new beds, new furniture and everything. He then spent over tens of thousands of Dollars on the place and it was fixed up within a couple of days.

yea mike was always on the go. there was a time when something malfunctioned while he was performing “earth song” and it messed his back up TERRIBLY, but he continues to perform the song as well as the rest of the show in so much pain. the only time he cancelled a show from what i can remember is when Princess Diana passed away.
I think was in Germany. I so wish this would never have happened.

The girl is mind was on his say, say, say album. Or pretty young thing. People took advantage of MJ. I'm sure all that touring was against common labor laws. But he loved his fans. He would shout out I love you too. Man, a fan made an oil painting for him, and he said, "I like it it's beautiful."

The birthday date was wrong - it was during the 1997 leg of the HIStory Tour, in Copenhagen. I know for sure because I was blessed to be there, right in the front row singing Happy Birthday to that beautiful man❤️ It always makes me emotional to hear what he says about that show and is fans being his family around the world❤️ Such a very precious memory and one of my favourite moments ever with Michael❤️

His history tour was scheduled in 38 countries, and around 85 cities. Those numbers of schedules happen when you are in demand, from Hungary to India and they were all massive stadium tours. MJ has to be the most loved musical artist ever on the global scale, not saying other artists are not but comparatively, MJ's range goes a bit higher. And it's very understandable if he got tired of touring because just think, he was performing since the age of 5.

What? The only thing he hated about touring was the toll it took on his body. Have you seen any shows on the 'Bad' tour? He sang and danced for 2 hours three times a week. His Bad tour had 75 Arctic lorries carrying all the props and stage. The immense amount of money it would of cost to do that. Plus he paid all his musicians such a good wage. All this together and the Bad tour was still the most profitable tour of all time (so you can imagine how much Gross it actually earned). All this stress and upheaval will take a massive amount of stress in the body. The man used to eat like an athlete to sustain such massive energy, and it was reported he wouldn't sleep for days after a show.
He was the most famous man on earth but wanted to quit live touring around 89/90 but he only carried on because he donated all his earnings thereon to his charity and other charities. He carried on touring LITERALLY only for the fans and for the charities and so he could help the less fortunate around the world. The only artist I've ever known to care more about his fans than maybe himself or his own family.

Michael Jackson was the youngest person to have a number one single along with his brothers I think he wasn't 12 at the time so about time he's in his thirties I think he should have been tired of touring if you watch the Jacksons is the four-part movie you see he was terrified of flying in Jets and planes but they forced him to do it

Hi Twins! Just because a singer tours, doesn't mean they like it. They go all over the world and see very.little of it because they are working. They have many obligations. Hundreds of people on their team to pay, as well as supporting many family members. It's exciting at first I'm sure, but it's a grueling profession. No rest, especially for such a megastar as MJ. You rest when you get old and slow down, or choose to retire completely, or die. How ironic.
