YES!! I suggested this one on their last MJ video, too! The brother-sister dance breakdown, so good. Also watch Janet Jackson, "Rhythm Nation" or "If" - she was almost as influential a dancer in that area, and as big of a superstar as her brother at one point.

He was very much a perfectionist (upbringing). He was fascinating, mesmerizing to watch with his dance moves and left us a legacy of hits/music and controversy. I'm 64 so I first saw him (and Janet) in the Jacson 5. Such a musically talented family. Such a sad day to hear he died so young. Thank you guys, it's better the second time watching you and your reviews. The 70's and 80's music was a time that will never come again. Thank you for what you do in making these songs come alive to a new generation. Peace :)

I know Fosse was a huge influence, I can see it in his moves. I'm glad that they actually met but am sad they never worked together, those two with Vera might have done something we couldn't handle.

Many of us grew up watching the Jackson 5 perform. I think the first time I watched Michael perform it was on a black and white television set (no remote). Michael couldn't have been but 12 or so, I was about 6. I only stopped and paid attention when everyone else was screaming Michael Jackson is on! We couldn't stop and record on our cell phones for probably well into the 2000s. I think 2004. The rest is history as they say with respect to technology. Then Michael passed a few short years later in 2009. It is hard to believe he has been gone going on 13 years.

When he was on the Bad Tour, I got to see him. I had front row seats. He was dancing in front of me all night. What a performer.

Dangerous is my favorite MJ album, I love the song, love this performance. He was the definition of perfectionist!! The dancers and music and lights, everything had to be absolutely PERFECT! And he thought of and anticipated everything, and he would go over every detail again and again until he was 100% ready and totally confident in what the audience was going to witness. He was the king, no one like him.

I am ,,new,, in MJ world and i agree with you reg. his inspiration from nature/animals. I was a metalhead all my life but nowadays since some months i discovered this worldwide phenomena which is MJ, and i am in awe and listen and watch his artistic career as often as i can, basic daily. When i see him performing, besides the perfect choreography, i can see the animal movements which inspired him. Sometimes when he screams on stage the only thing that comes into my mind is ,,there is Mowgly,,. Michael Jackson is like a feral kid. They try to compare him but sorry, he is above comparison. After all his place in history is not only as genius musician, but as one of the most important cultural personality of the XX th century.
BTW ABBA just got back together after 40 years!!!!

Guys I totally agree with you.. .he was ahead of his time..his dance technique, his design clothes especially his jackets, he invested a lot of time perfecting all his moves and he never disappoint. Ever! He's the greatest artist of all time. RIP sweet soul..thank you for sharing your talent with the world. We love you and miss you so much. You live in our hearts every single day!

MJ was fascinated by The Robot - Electric Boogalooo- Body poppin what ever you want to call it. He had dance lessons from Bruno "Poppin Taco" Falcon of Breakin The Movie fame.Hands down one of the greatest dancers ever.
They were both in Captain EO with MJ and I think 1 other thing. Supposedly Boogaloo Shrimp taught MJ the moonwalk, at least that’s what he said. Not sure why he would lie but hey you never know lol.
