hey mike im new Locksmith New to key cutting i cut key for customer on 2010 Chevy equinox All keys not lost Just Adding Another Key so i Decoding Cuts From the key They Have with Dolphin xp-005 like you have, it gave me Bitting 1-1-2-2-3-1-3-2 key worked in ignition Not Door Then I Cut Another Key From Key Code Off The Ignition Cylinder Bitting 2-1-3-3-4-2-4-3 Key Works In Door Now But Not Ignition Cylinder Is There Something Im Missing Here ?? Maybe Key Code From Cylinder Not Correct? Because It Was Hard To Read On GM Im Sure I Got It Right But Cut Did Like Exactly Same To There Old Key

U can make your own tool to remove the barrel.. I actually used a sparkler handle side and bent it to suit..

Most of the apps or sites that access key cut codes are restricted to either being a licensed locksmith or paying a subscription fee through them.

Are you using instacode and is it connected with your key tool max allowing you to have the cuts directly sent to the key tool max after you entered the code? And if so how do you go about connecting your instacode app to the key tool max?
No that was spl I believe its a program with his sec-e9 key cutter.. you cannot connect instacode with your key tool max however if you have the dolphin it can convert the key code into the bitting and you can also find bitting as long as you have a dolphin xp005

That is the orientation needle to tell the computer the actual position of the key blade in the jaws, cheers

Very similar yes,if its high security blade hu100 might need to remove with blue side if not with the yello side!!

Is there a possibility I could get the key code of my car just with the vin number ?
nastf or paying around $90 from a code broker. the way he does it in this video or using lishi tools is the way a locksmith would do it.
On your own personal car you can get the keys code from the dealer
@@russej02 I have a Pontiac g8 and Pontiac doesn’t exist no more I’ve tired the Chevy dealership and they won’t help I’m not trying to spend much money on it since it’s a project car it’s just sitting right now
