Also a joy to see live (great opener for Haken, even with the soundmix being botched at that specific concert). Really hope Ben adventures on the internet can bring a new audience to the band and take it to stardom.
Bent Knee is so fascinating to watch. Seeing them live with Thank You Scientist was amazing. Make sure if you like them to check out the amazing solo/side projects of each member. They are all so talented.
The new album is god damn incredible. Really violently shakes you between beauty and disgust. Some of the most abrasive songs you’ll ever hear, directly intercut by some of the prettiest
So nice to have this. Saw them at Rebel Lounge in Phx and it was a great performance, but the sound system was a little distorted. This performance is mastered perfect. Thanks Bent Knee!
Honestly, not my favorite record but the songs come alive in a live performance. These guys have so much personality it enhances every performance and makes the music jump out at you. I honestly can't believe how few people know of them and I wish them all the success in the world.
Beautiful as always dear band Bent Knee and solo also albums fantastic. Thanks so much for this show !!! Will be great see You in Poland on concert !!! Take care and all the best in career. Love !

Not really digging the autotune stuff here, though I get what they're trying to do. Not This Time is what I expect from Bent Knee. Delivering on that even just once in a while is good enough for me.
Just when I though the extreme "autotune" fad was done to death, then exhumed, zombified and done to death all over again, now Bent Knee gets into it? Really? 24 years of this is quite enough thank you.
I think it's safe to say it's not a "fad." Autotune on vocals is similar to putting distortion on guitars. There's several different ways to utilize it and now it's more used to create vibe and texture rather than correcting vocals. The voice is an instrument just like anything else.
The distortion analogy works like that: putting your voice through autotune in the middle of a song might sound akin to putting your spanish guitar through distortion in the middle of a flamenco passage. It's not a point of of "liking" a sound, or the song being "good", it's just a fact: it might sound jarring. Personally I'm fine with autotune, ironic or not, but not every application I heard here seemed like a right place for it. Doesn't mean I think the songs are bad, just that I disliked aspects of them. The small consolation for me not enjoying the music to its fullest is not being on the same side with people who feel the need to redefine autotune as "pitch manipulation" within the conversation, and even type it twice
This is a fucking amazying performance. Aknowkledge and I think we can work together. I think we can befriends.I love the singer. She is so lovelyyyyyyyyy7yyyy7yyyyyyyyyyyyyy7

Been a big fan of Bent Knee for about 7 years and had not really heard about anything new since the pandemic, so I clicked here to check in. I stopped listening @:39 just after the autotune duet BS kicked in. Honestly, I'm shocked that they would resort to what in music amounts to a parlor trick and incorporate it into their music, which is light years ahead of most other bands out there, both musically and conceptually. Autotune is what a musical act resorts to when it's both short on talent and ideas, but needs to bow to the masses and meet industry quotas and generate $$, which this band has never been about. In the past, Bent knee seemed in the past to be eternally able to conceive of, wrangle and tame the wild ideas that were unobtainable to 99% of other bands out there. Now they've lowered their own bar and simply seem to be stooping to the level of 99% of other mediocre bands with this outdated gimmick. Seriously, guys, cut that s__t out. It's weird how strong emotions some people have with ALL autotune use. Come on, it's a tool just like there are tools for literally every other instrument. You don't listen to only acoustic music I presume.
If you are just listening to 39 seconds of the song is ok. But that doesn't give you the right to criticize them. I think they are too talented to think that using one tool or another is going to harm their talent.
@@pmtnoise5855 I have the right to (and will)do or say anything I want and express my opinion, regardless of what it is, and regardless of what YOU think I should do or say. @@joesutherland2017 What I meant was that listening to just 40 seconds of a song doesn't give you the tools to form an opinion about that music in particula. It's been called the fad that just won't die for 2 decades. Two producers,1 of whom is now retired that I'm friends with will both roll their eyes when the term is mentioned in conversation and you might hear a groan here and there. I've been writing, playing and recording music recreationally for 30+ years and never met a musician, tech or producer who had a good thing to say about it, just that it's a double-edged sword that cheapens both the music AND studio billing, thereby diminishing the craft, art and dedication of talented singers.
