@@travisfletcher900 FROM THE GOATS LIPS HIMSELF!! 68’ is easily the best band I listen to hands down. Anything Josh scogin makes is genius and this band is his best work hands down🤟🤟🤟
Saw 68 perform at the House of Blues in Chicago for the first time and they were AWESOME!!! Great performance from just two guys, great energetic live sound and they had the crowd laughing - they made the night!
I remember seeing Josh Scogin when he was vocals for Luti-Kriss (pre Norma Jean). I was enamored with his stage presence and his voice. Been listening to all of his music since.
Holy shit, I should have kept up with Josh Scogin better after Norma Jean, this is amazing. Like what if Jack White was super into post-hardcore and noise rock?
I agree about the Jack White comment. It feels like there’s guys should be much much bigger. As much as I hate the term, they’ve got that “it factor” and make great music. I could easily see them becoming big.
Jack White wishes he was this awesome! Of course, he came close on the SNL appearance of a few months ago, where he played some stripped-down badass blues screamery. But on reflection, it occurs to me that maybe he caught a '68 video performance (or a live one) and got REAL INSPIRED. Dude better step it up, is all I gotta say, cuz these guys are all A-Game ...
If you missed out on the Chariot, wow, I dunno what to tell you. It was a great time to be alive and be at those shows. You can always watch UA-cam videos, of course.
These guys were actually a lot of fun to watch. Definitely a fan now. Great Act. Las Vegas, House of Blues just recently. They kicked ass. The crowd was kinda lame, Just staring with that fluoride stare, lol.
I was there that night too. I had never heard of them but that energetic performance made me an instant fan. I especially loved the ending where they were stealing the drummers kit while he was still playing
Noice... I like how they played in front of each other. Battling it out against each other.. good times. Dance with the dead is in Vegas at Hard rock. This October
Man I’ve been under the rock because these dudes snuck right up on me and jumped my soul!! I’m loving this set and these guys Love the striped down attack great riffs and drums vocals guitar tone and attack!
Words are Dumb... But this, is... beyond. Fucking heavy and genre spanning as ever. So distinctive... such relate-able lyrics and an "experimental sound", dare I say? ...... Truly a one of a kind spectacle. Fking Hard Core Maaan!
This is totally a Conan O’Brien type band to play at the end of the show 😂 Josh Scogin always wild and emotionally expressive. Love you man, -old timer fan from 20+ years ago Blessings!! ♥✞♥
Saw them live in Annapolis when they were touring their first album. They were excellent, but Josh's bands usually are. Had the pleasure of seeing him with Norma Jean before he quit :) I was maybe 14.
Man I wish we had gotten the track list for this, love '68. PS anyone who is new to them make sure you check out their other project 'The Chariot" same style but a bit more organized.
The Chariot was amazing! Another to check out is a band called Norma Jean. Josh fronted that band for a while and way back when they were called LudaKris. His solo work is even great!
@@TheOfficialEC thank you knowing these basic facts about Josh Scoggins. I know that sounds really pretentious, but I always kind of assumed he was a legend around the hardcore/metal/southern rock scene...Also, isnt the drummer his brother?
Marcus Lee he started Norma Jean and left like two albums in to start the chariot which was around a decade into their shenanigans when it was ended to start this duo. Neither original nor this drummer are his brothers. They’re people he knows from the music circuit
I'm glad to see that Jack White, The Hot Snakes and Royal Blood finally combined their DNA and deposited it into the bodies of these two youth. Hello my new favorite band, I look forward to throwing all of my money at you.
I saw them at the Hoosier Dome with Whores in Indianapolis almost two years ago now and they fucking KILLED IT! I will be watching this duo closely for sure
Josh messed up a couple times on "This Life is Old, New, Borrowed and Blue", but this is overall a very good performance from a great band. Even without a crowd to perform in front of, they bring it. Their live show is so much fun and filled with so much energy! It only took them two songs to win me over the first time I saw them live. I sped home and blared them until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore into the early morning. I've seen them once more since then and I'll get to see them a third time this summer. These guys bring intensity, rugged rawness and off beat humor. It takes a lot of talent to pull off "Life Has It's Design" and still manage to make people smile between songs. From skin tingling intensity to silliness that will break the most serious of us into a grin. I love this band.
Was at the korn show in noblesville last night and I gotta say, I'm upset we didnt get in earlier. We caught about 4 songs and I was loving it more than most of staind/korn lol

Josh and Nikko sound like so one else. Such a rarity. When a band is its own genre of music, that's super-special.
Naw it's like if the white strips had balls.
Angst with groove.I never get tired of hearing this session. Proper rock n roll.
The rawness is unparalleled. Brilliant.
At the Drive-In early albums type.

Nice. The only concert I've ever been to was there. Animals as leaders with the contortionist a the opening act. Great venue
