I don't think Alyxian will show up in CR. I think Matt would want to leave that for fans running Netherdeep
I thought so too at first but with what Matt's doing with ruidus in c3 now I'm just not too sure. We just finished calamity and the solstice was a really big deal there. With it happening in c3 I think anything is possible

Xarxies becoming the champion of ausmadius is a bit off. It more of he was forcefully turned into the first ‘champion’ of ausmadaus and the first welder of the mace do to his obsession with redemption.
Now the reason for the quotation marks around champion Is because he has shown to fight agents the pull and win almost the whole time we saw him in it because of the initial obsession that got him the position to start with. He also killed his mortal flesh before fully turning and had the contract changed if only slightly be a semi redeemed Vespin (before Vespin himself fully fell to the pull) so thou we know his fate we do not know the path it will take him. even now we still do not know if he ever fell to the pull and if he did when. Ya he became a devil and a demi god but did he ever do anything after day 1 because theirs a good chance he didn’t even after being remade.
What this would mean is that the strongest champion of ausmudaus (Vespin was weakened as well on day one) might have been inaperable from the start. Thus no champion for asmudaus till Vespin reconstituted. Plus one of the most powerful weapons in dnd and a newly formed devil Demi god is completely useless till xarxis actually fell, if he ever even did.
This by itself is a huge shift in how it would go as this means for at least the first few years of calamity the leader of the betrayer god didn’t have a champion
He chose TWICE to become the Champion of the God that deceived and betrayed him. Once when he picked up the mace and the second when he chose that existence over death.
@@joshuafox8856 1 he picked up the mace to save the brass ring, the city and his son.
2 while the second time wasn't his choice as the contract was written in blood. thus even with vespins change it was only a matter of time before the inevitable pull started. so he killed himself (assisted suicide) before the contract clause came to pass to make it harder for asumudaus to control him once he reformed. unlike with vespin his mortal body was killed before he was under complete control. he still becomes the champion the question now till we see him again is how much did his actions lesson the pact/bond
@@kevind3974 1 he didn't save anyone except his son. 2 no he chose to be raised after his friend killed him to prevent the loss of his soul. He was already dead and was given the choice. He chose to remain as a Champion.
honestly is a likely do to his main flaw. he things he can redeem anyone. so he picked to be turned thinking he could "redeem" ausmadius. even though ausmadius is not someone what needs or wants redemption.
