I have had 2 of these. First one lasted 2 yrs. Was replaced by BAK under warranty. The replacement lasted 3 years and the vinyl is shrinking, cracking, and pealing. I have religiously used the recommended 303 protectant as they suggested. Lasted long enough to get it out of the warranty period.

Mark, Sorry to hear that. Like anything UV Rays kill most everything sitting in the sun. Mine thus far has held up really good. I plan on doing a one year & two year review. There seems to be a lot of interest with this type of bed cover. Thanks for watching...

I think this is the x4s. The x4ts has t-slot rails and I don't see them on yours... ?

Rob, thank you for the call out. Yes, you are correct it is the X4s. Not sure what I was thinking when I said that, because I was actually considering both. Sorry for the confusion

What is the bed mat you have in your truck?

I purchased BedRug Custom Truck Bed Mat - Bed Floor Cover for Trucks with Bare Beds or Spray-In Liners. I went through RealTrucks.com. Thanks for watching....

Great video. I’ve been looking at the Lomax tonneau and the BAK tonneau you installed. Any issues with wind buffeting the tonneau while driving, or on long road trip? Also, how is the UV protection against fading or is resistance to staining? I love the lower profile/flush look on the BAK, but just a bit hesitant with a soft top tonneau vs hard cover like the Lomax and others.

      Rob,
Great question. I have heard no noise coming from the cover at all. I haven't seen any signs of UV fading yet. I use a protectant called 303. It's an aerospace protectant and it prevents fading and cracking, repels dust and restores lost color. It's a great product. I really, like the BAK X4TS cover. It has held up very well except for the corner cap, but great customer service... I hope this info helps

Can you fold up your Multifunction tailgate grab arm with the cover open and does it hit or make contact with the BakFlip Revolver bed rails? Please let me know. Thank you

Gary, I totally agree with you brother. I would buy this cover again on my next truck no questions asked.... I also think it looks sexy on the bed of a truck.....

Can anyone who has used this for an extended period of time comment on the condition.
I have seen a ton of reviews mention the vinyl peeling back and shrinking as well as the rubber underneath falling apart.

That's interesting to hear. I have had seen some reviews with an earlier version of that happening. The earlier version did not have the all black slats underneath the cover, it was aluminum with rubber going down each side where as the newer version as you can see in the thumbnail picture I have posted is all black underneath. This cover is on a truck that is in my driveway 100% of the time with 105 degree south Texas sun bearing down on it, for more than six months and it looks brand new. I will keep watching for it and let you know... Thank you for the comment..
