Thanks for this! I just brought a load of chinchilla yarn to make my little step sister a super soft blanket for Christmas. Never used this type of yarn before and super excited to try it!
Thank you for these very helpful tips! I was looking at this yarn the other day, it's very pretty. I didn't purchase any of it because it looked hard to use. Now, I will definitely try it!
Thanks so much for this video! I bought Lion Brand Go For Faux and was getting super frustrated because I wasn’t able to see the stitches. You have given me some great tips and I think I can move forward on my project!
Should you cast on loose. I tried a double crochet and a half stich but had a hard time going through all three. I'm thinking knitting might be better. I'm just trying to make a simple rectangle shrug thing
I've been crocheting for about 3yrs., or so, so I'm not a total beginner but still at this point am not comfortable with working with furry yarn, but one day I will. Looks gorgeous!! Thanks!
Great tips but why does no one show how to tie off ends when done with projects using faux fur yarn especially for edging? Using regular yarn we weave in ends but how does one do that with faux fur? Tying knots with yarn does not always hold, so what is the trick with faux fur?
I'm a little confused. A lot of people keep saying it's easiest to "do stockinette" with this yarn but then go on to say to knit all the stitches. Isn't that called garter stitch though? And if I did actual stockinette (knit one side, purl the next side*) isn't stockinette notorious for curling up and needing a border of something like garter/rib/seed stitch that prevents the curling? I don't think this is a regional thing because typing it into Google shows stockinette only as the little plait/braid looking things on one side and purl stitch on the other. So why do people keep saying to do stockinette stitch? Is it better? Is a misnomer? It's driving me a little cray cray lol
Very good, useful advices! I find the knitting is much easier for these yarns than crochetting for you can see the yarn stitches on the needles.

Don't do it! I made one granddaughter a chinchilla scarf, and ended up making fur scarves for 4 more grandkids! Lol

How do you join this yarn? And how do you sew in the ends
Thanks! Very helpful! I made fur coat for Doll and used it to add fur edge to snowman’s beanie hat. Glued it on the edge,
Thanks for the tips. Such pretty festive fur💗

Thanks for share beautiful crochet design 🇮🇳❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
How do you wash faux fur yarn while preserving that “fresh-out-of-the-box” feel???
Can you please tell how to attach two balls (that is, when the first one is over and we have to attach the second ball to continue)
How do you a magic ring with faux fur yarn?
For seaming, do you use a traditional yarn type?
Did you find out what to use for seaming? I am trying to find an answer for that as well.
How do you attach the next skein?
Could I just sew it over a old blanket?😁 Sorry if I sound silly. My sister gave me a whole bunch of it, and I don't know what to do with it.
Go for it
