Use separate scrap/acrylic yarn for your magic circle… wrap twice round your finger/s like you normally would and then crochet your 6 sc (or whatever) fluffy yarn into it as normal…. The scrap yarn will then pull tight smoothly and it also can’t be seen, and you won’t get frustrated or break your fluffy/plushie/blanket/velvet yarn at all…super easy and now I don’t swear at the start of every piece! P.S. I’m sooo buying that monster pattern next payday… it’s soooo cute! Tho i still have your otter to make, I bought that 2 weeks ago… but yay, long Easter/crochet break is coming!
Excellent tips!!! The neck light is AWESOME - total game changer for me, with all types of yarn; even in decent lighting, it really helps. I haven’t tried this fuzzy/furry yarn yet, but I’m tempted! Your patterns would look FANTABULOUS in this yarn! They’re such fun patterns! 🧶🫶🏻☺️
I decided to listen and be forgiving to myself and use a larger crochet hook and it's already working so well!! I'm wondering what pet brush you use for the fur, I'm working on a project that uses plush yarn that then switches into fur yarn so I can't turn it inside out but still want it as fluffy as possible! 😋
I started learning to crochet this week and for some reason I always end up with more stitches than I should have after every row even tho I count them. Could you please please Please do a beginners tips, tricks / how to learn crochet. I'm a week in, dream of making plushies as neat as you but wanna cry cause I can't seem to get it right xxx
Is this with fluffy yarn or in general? Perhaps there are some accidental increases happening in your work, just make sure you're using a stitch marker at the end of each round

with what Faux fur yarn brand to you crochet? :D
Can one skip a row of fur yarn and use a non-fluffy yarn between the fur rows? Need 1000yds of fur for a project and that's $$$! 😬
