Love it! I was so close to throwing away a bag of this type of yarn that I've had sitting around forever. Now I know how to work with it! Thank you so much!!
and that's why I watched this..I've been the go-to person that everyone else is dumping their stash of feather/eyelash yarn on so I figured it was time to see how to use it best AND perhaps make some teddy's that I can pass on..
WoW! Thanks SOOO much for this!! I have had various skeins of this in my junk bucket as I have made 4 or 5 unsuccessful attempts at using it. It is not easy to crochet, because you can't see the stitches and it is not easy to knit because the yarn does not slit well in the loops. I just had a dahhh moment when you mentioned pairing it with another yarn. Genious!
ok this was actually helpful, I've been watching videos, reading blogs and through socials and I couldnt find any useful tips to be able to use this yarn so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart
Brilliant as always! Thank you for this. I have scrubby yarn like this that’s SO hard to work with because I cannot see the stitches. This is going to help so much 💕
I have used that type of yarn to make C2C shawls I use it alone without any issues. C2C shawls turn out beautiful so soft too! Im sure C2C blanket would be great also.
Ok, so now i know bow to use the pipsqueak yarn. I used it to make bunny ears and found it to be a TOTAL pain in the eyes.. Lol Promised myself never to use it again. But I think I'll give it a try now. Thank you
I used a very similar novelty yarn without the extra yarn added, I had to feel for every stitch! But I'm glad I persevered as it was for a gift, a baby blanket. It was a nightmare to begin with but I soon became familiar once I was a few rows running. 😊
Thank you for this tip. I'm glad I watched this video. I can't stand working with those beautiful fuzzy, soft yarns (pipsqueak). Now I'll give it a try again😉
I've had a ball of that teddy bear yarn for like 15 years. I've started a million projects with it and was about to give up. This is a great idea thank you
Many thanks for this tip ,just what I needed as I bought some from a charity shop and had no idea what to make with it ,so many thanks much appreciated 👍
Great tip. I just might give it a try. I have very poor vision, somhave avoided the fluffy yarns....even though they are often beautiful. I’m thinking of getting a purple based one, and teaming it with other jewel tones... BTW.. I have that lovely K hook... I absolutely swear by my Clover hooks.
You. Are. A. Genius. I was working on a small scrap cat crochet, and had black tuff yarn I wanted to use but was mad struggling with it, I watched this video and found some dark grey scrap yarn and it is so cute! Its not completely black like I wanted but to be fair its a scrap project anyways, but it turned out much better and cuter than I thought it would.
Thank you, I was really upset when I saw this yarn! Didn't want to pay shipping to send it back! Couldn't figure out what to do with it! Will try your tip:) Feel much better! Thank you:)
I love the contrasting colors that work so well together, almost giving it a dimensional look. What a great tip. Now I can experiment for Holiday presents. P.S. you have me 'hooked' on DK yarn. I love Paintbox.
That’s what I do, too! This past winter I got bold and tried some soft, fuzzy yarn without the other strand. Once again ... I got frustrated. I ended up putting the project (a cowl) in time-out! It’s still there. 😕 There really is a night and day difference between using it with another strand vs working it alone.
It looks and feel like one of them Teddy blanket that you can but I am going to make my grandchildren hug around blankets as they wanted one trike there little brother had but I was a bit of a pig to work with thank you for your time x
I almost threw this same kind of yarn but gave to my sister as she is younger than me so she can see well I thought but I am going to take it back from her😂😂 as you gave me the perfect idea.. thanks a lot! your video!!
This is BRILLIANT! Thank you.🙂 I bought a bunch of the Boucle during a Hobby Lobby Clearance and did not know what to do with it. (shrug) I just knew I liked it. Thank you. 😀
I love the blanket I have some squishy yarn and I dont like it. But pairing it with another strand is an excellent way ti get rid of this horrible yarn and you are right...my cats will love it in the cool weather.
Thank you so very much, I was about to put it in the garbage, Im going to get a contrasting color I don’t want to pull my hairs again trying to crochet with this fuzzy yarn. Thank you
such great tips! Thank you, I was gifted some yarn very similar to what you are working with and I love what you are doing! I'm excited to try working with it now.
Thank you for this tip Robin Iv got some of this yarn purposely to make a teddy bear with but was wondering how it would work up , I'm going to be knitting it but I guess this tip works for knitting too , your blanket looks beautiful btw , very soft and snugly I can imagine your cats do love it my dog would lol , 😊Amanda xx
Thank goodness, I bought broucle yarn to make a teddy and thought there is no way. I tried and nope but now I'll try again with another regular yarn and hoping. 😊

Beautiful! Do you know, by chance, what in the world to do with the sashay yarn? The weird ruffle yarn that I have loads of (who knows why) and don’t want to make another ruffle-type scarf with. Any ideas for something non scarf related? Thanks and hugs from Canada.
I have a pattern for a top and it needs a cotton ribbon yarn which I can't find anywhere if you can your find the cotton ribbon yarn could you show how to use it and mention where you found it. Thanks lovely lady
Love it! I was so close to throwing away a bag of this type of yarn that I've had sitting around forever. Now I know how to work with it! Thank you so much!!

I have used that type of yarn to make C2C shawls I use it alone without any issues. C2C shawls turn out beautiful so soft too! Im sure C2C blanket would be great also.
I do this , also , with Lion brand homespun and bernat pipsqueak yarns . I use this tip for fine weight yarns , also .
I made a pair of slippers for my great-niece with Bernat pipsqueak & vowed to never use it again.
Ok, so now i know bow to use the pipsqueak yarn. I used it to make bunny ears and found it to be a TOTAL pain in the eyes.. Lol Promised myself never to use it again. But I think I'll give it a try now. Thank you
Good tip. I made a fur jacket for a Barbie Doll. It was difficult. I did miss a few sts, but you could not see mistakes because of fur.
A great idea for combining two yarns. The blanket is beautiful, I like the color scheme 😊
Thank you for this tutorial, I have a lot of this feathery yarn and eyelash yarn, now I can do something with them.
Ive got 4 balls of pastel rainbow in this yarn ... Now i need to get some pastel purple to mix with it... Thankyou for the tip :)

You just safed all of my great plans I had for my fluffy yarn! I almost threw them away. Thank You so much for this absolutely pro tip ♥
Phew! I am glad it has helped.😃🧶
Yes, it's easier to knit with as the stitches are all on the needle. But this is an ingenious way to crochet with it. Thanks for sharing!
