As a undersized Pf he would guard Shaq, Barkley, Kemp, Malone and other stars. And they always talked about him like he was a problem or nuisance instead of a hard working mastermind. I still watch the NBA. but they don't play this hard anymore. It's all offense, and no real defense and no post play. I miss this
He was a nuisance and asshole a lot of times but It canceled out because he was tireless and sacrificed his body for loose balls. it set the tone and an example of what hard work can accomplish.

That was almost a repeat of Games 1 and 6 of last season’s ECSF where the Bulls botched both games in a winning position. This time the Bulls who were mentally stronger compared to last year, maintained their focus, withstood the Magic onslaught and came up with the big plays in clutch time.
Shaq was a problem. There's been some revisionist history that Shaq was a bad defender, but he really just caused major problems by being so big and in the way. He didn't need to do much more.
