All of Jordan's finals opponents are literally less skilled than Kobe and LeBron's, it's just facts. Please respect the evolution of the game that these men created though, especially 23!!
factz, I mean I luv basketball so I'm a fan of what these players today can do, kids of some of the ogs doing they thing, but the way the game is played, the rules, and analytics taking the post up and mid range game out, the money being different, the passion just isn't there as much, it don't feel as real
No self respect , college 1 and done, 3 pointers, rules changed , no defense ... Now it's all marketing to little Asian kids. No offense or racism. It's just a more global game now
Curry is considered the best 3 point shooter of all time which is correct. MJ has to be the best short range(that tough finesse 10-12 footer and baseline jumper), best mid range, best long 2 point range, and best post up to turn around fade away shooter of all time. Not to confuse that with the fact he is the best attacker and finisher at and around the rim. Jordan’s ppg career average with the Bulls for the regular season is 31.5ppg which is #1 all time. Playing for the Wizards brought his average down to 30.1ppg which is still #1 all time. James Harden’s avg is 24.9ppg for his career. His highest average for one season was 36.1ppg which is incredible, Jordan’s was 37.1ppg. Jordan had 8 seasons where he averaged 30 or more per game for the whole season. Harden has done that 3 seasons. Jordan’s career for the playoffs is 33.4ppg which is of course #1 all time. I think people forget that total points that Kareem owns, and LeBronda will soon own, confuse that with being the “scoring leader” yes they lead in total points which is in line with longevity. But the true leader all time is MJ. Think about it MJ and Chamberlain are the only two players in NBA history to literally average 30ppg for their entire career. And think about this MJ is the only player in NBA history to average 30 ppg for his entire playoff career at 33.4ppg. He raised his level when the level of play from the competition was at its toughest in the playoffs. #2 all time playoffs, Iverson 29.7ppg, #3 Durant 29.4ppg, think about that 5 ppg more than the next guy is a lot. Doncic has not played enough playoff games to be in this ppg comparison. MJ is the GOAT.
You know growing up Michael Jordan was and still is my everything. He was why I ever loved the game of basketball as a little little kid. He had an ability to play the game in a way that I have never seen replicated. Even today when I play basketball I wonder what went through his mind before he made some of the incredible plays he did. The thing I remember most about this night was thinking and just praying please MJ. Do not go away. Please do not retire. I just knew that if he and the bulls stayed together the winning would have continued. My biggest regret I will ever have is that I was never able to watch my hero in person. But 27 years old and Michael Jordan is still the biggest inspiration in my life. Hopefully one day I get the chance to shake his hand and thank him for the impact he had on my life.
The God of basketball.. Flight... Air Jordan.. With his signature sticker jumpman. What an iconic man of basketball.. He the God of basketball with all his teammates.
Both finals versus the Jazz were incredible! They were much closer than six games though in my opinion. I watched both of them, and Utah was an amazing team! The coaching was phenomenal! Most any other team besides the bulls they would have won the finals both years. What a great time in basketball history!
Truth. This is and always will be my answer for all those people who question Jordan as being the best of all time. He played during a period when attempting to drive the lane for an easy 2 lay-up, they were gonna make you pay for it in bruises and blood. Jordan is considerably smaller than James yet still he always found a way to get to the rim and make it count. The NBA today calls a foul for even dripping a bead of sweat on your opponent. Oh, and let's not forget that Jordan STAYED WITH THE BULLS HIS ENTIRE CAREER. James bounced around and went to the teams that could get him a ring.
That is such BS. The 1990s was a watered down league filled with expansion teams and mediocre finals opponents. The Bulls were the only truly good team that was stacked and it’s no surprise they won 6 titles in that decade. The 2010s decade alone produced at least 10 teams that could give the Bulls a run for their money. And miss me with that “PhYsIcAl” defense. The defenders back then were slow as molasses and most of them look disorganized. Plus there were *more* fouls called per game in the 90s then today.
Jhen Dela Rosa ....you gotta be kidding. John Pax in 91& 93, Kerr in 97. Lbj's rings came from superteams he never worked hard to made his team better instead he just ride on or jumps wagon to play with a superteam/talented players and get those chips..
For me this is a true game real teamwork and individuals who strived to play hard and better every year! To the point where they're right now! And Jordan is the real Goat! 👍👍👍
All of Jordan's finals opponents are literally less skilled than Kobe and LeBron's, it's just facts. Please respect the evolution of the game that these men created though, especially 23!!
Javale Mcgee Robbert Horry 7-1
MJ...the GOAT..my idol since time then until now...🙂
Oh I remember this 😍 Love the Trinity -Jordan, Pippen, & Rodman. MJ will always be the G.O.A.T.
Incomparable performance, the greatest of all time
Jordan returned with jersey #45, left the Bulls with 45 points. Thank you Jordan, the GOAT, as usual
Solid game for Michael Jordan he's my idol period. Still watching 2019
epic. Still claping in 2018
I remember sweating bullets watching this game..my uncle was like we all know the Bulls are going to win..he got up and left..and damn he was right
BEST NBA FINALS GAME EVER
Now this was a real basketball! Today is a disgrace
I remember that game...ir was great
That basketball was greaat, as you said man today is garbage
factz, I mean I luv basketball so I'm a fan of what these players today can do, kids of some of the ogs doing they thing, but the way the game is played, the rules, and analytics taking the post up and mid range game out, the money being different, the passion just isn't there as much, it don't feel as real
No self respect , college 1 and done, 3 pointers, rules changed , no defense ...
Now it's all marketing to little Asian kids. No offense or racism. It's just a more global game now
Facts
True
7:38 that rodman shot is so epic😃😃😃
MJ 6-0 Finals #GOAT, when I was 20 I remembered this game lol
Como extraño ver jugar a Chicago con Jordan en vivo, que tiempos¡
After the game - while in the locker room celebrating - Michael said: "They can't win 'til we quit!"
So much truth to that.
Still watching 10/02/19
That's my MICHAEL JORDAN the real G O A T ...to inspired a lot thank you...
Oh, My God, I watched this game live
Back when NBA was on Saturdays...Man life was Good
When the NBA was real and competitive
Until at my age 60 I'll never tired watching my one & only mvp
Hurtszones
1.6 scandal
mj did this in last minute that was the real Reason why he is the GOAT...Unlike lbj needs wade or kyrie to win LOL
Jhen Dela Rosa ....you gotta be kidding. John Pax in 91& 93, Kerr in 97. Its not like LeBron was choking and them guys bailed him out he was ballin in those moments & also has other guys come through in the clutch. When LeBron has played shitty his teams would lose and there'd be no question as to what happened.

M. Jordan is a best player NBA at all time.
I guess I will settle for third behind scottie
I remember this game like it was yesterday the whole block had this on I miss the 90s
8:23 - watch Steve Kerr get beat up - he gets forearmed in the head and kneed in the chest dropping him to the floor and then gets trampled over - all by Karl Malone - how the refs didn't see it is unbelievable. You hear Kerr yell when he gets hit in the head.
Damn you're right! Watched that Game live back in the day but damn ... never heard anyone speak of this. Instead there will always be "The Push" lol
@@evangelosmalousis6992 Copy That - LOL
You can say he maybe pushed Russell, but man, this shoot most player choke in pressure, not mj, was clearly very relaxed taken this shoot!! The goat
The ending to this game would have been “too corny” for a movie😆. Damn, MJ was drama....
still watching 2020 the GOAT
Nothing beats that fadeaway# jordan👏🏽✊🏾☝🏽
Su majestad se inmortalizo jugando muy por encima de los mejores de su época!
Six championships that's tuff
The good old NBA days
Still Watching It In July 2019
Me being from the CHICAGO area, it's MIKE all day, i mean this guy changed the game, i was in 3rd grade when he scored 63 on Boston and the point that NOBODY was doing what he was DOING, RIP KOBE but people saying he better than MIKE quit playing and REAL TALK, MIKE gave EVERYBODY THE VISION REAL TALK
I remember this game, good NBA times.
Still watching 2023 ….Chicago bulls with MJ on deck …the GOAT unstoppable!
Michael Jordan = GOAT
Air supply
I got this Tape at home I still remember..that time..Its realy Amazing...Aug02 2019..
Jordan’s team mates telling him thank you
You know you worldwide good when the away fans cheer for you all season
Damn good quality for 1998.
They are more modern than you think they are.
Lucky enough to see this live on TV
10:32 who would've know that this would be last Jazz point in 1998 season....
@11:33 this play is highly underrated as it again put pressure on the Jazz to score. MJ was slick to pull this off in 4 seconds.
The amazing thing was they allowed MJ, not to only score quickly, but so easily.
Playing in the triangle made getting baskets for MJ so easy.you can still get iso but it’s had to double with the movement
Super talented team ...with hand check era.
How quickly they forget. Jordan is the 🐐
We didnt forget bro.
I remember watching this when i was in 4th grade. Stayed up late for a lot of the series games.
11:32 this is such a key play, good job from Phil Jackson and the coaching staff. They don't expect a 2 for 1 and think maybe the bulls will try to tie with a 3 pointer (today that's what would happen because everyone tries to shoot 3's).
I miss the music they used to play during the playoffs and Finals.
Me too need that as my ringtone
