Many ppl feels the Bulls were able to sweep the Magic was due to the face that Horace Grant was injured in the Hawks series and aggravated his injury in Game 1. But even if the Magic have all their players healthy, the Bulls would still have beaten them anyway. I was expecting this series to go down to 6 games with both teams splitting the first 4 games with home victories then the Bulls winning the crucial Game 5 back in Chicago before coming back to Orlando to wrap up and finish the Magic off.
Poor shaq too bad he didn’t have someone to tell him he could be the second greatest of all time if he just moved his feet and didn’t do chin-ups on the rim! Love you shaq! 👍🏾✌🏾
5/27/96 also was the same night which featured a watershed moment in pro wrestling history: Scott Hall debuted on WCW Monday Nitro, stunning the wrestling world and planting a seed for what would become the NWO
This game is a perfect example about why the Bull won thanks to MJ, Shaq and the Magic were great even without Grant who got injured during this series, but still Dennis could make Shaq take some bad shots but not stopping him let alone Luc as big as he was he was no match for Shaq!
No Horace Grant, No Nick Anderson, no Brian Shaw, a non productive Dennis Scott, a hobbled Penny, and Shaq couldn't sink a free throw to save his life. Everything that could go wrong did so in the Bulls favor by the time this series came around. Not saying Chicago would've lost, but the series certainly would've been far more competitive had all these factors not been in play. I believe the Magic win games 2 and 4, but Bulls would win in 6 or 7.
Nah, they weren’t winning game 2 regardless, maybe 3 or 4 but that Orlando team was not in a great head space. Shaq and Brian Hill at odds, Shaq’s Free agency.
Nah that Magic team was getting swept regardless. Horace Grant's presence isn't making up for a 38 point margin in Game 1, the Magic ran up an 18 point lead in Game 2 and wilted under the Bulls defensive pressure in that second half. Game 3 would've probably been the best chance to get a win but the Magic got cold in the 4th and only scored 9 points in the 4th quarter and they weren't beating the Bulls on a night MJ goes for 45.
@kik5323 you have to watch game 2 though and see that the magic were dominating the bulls for a large portion of that game. Letting that lead slip messed up the series for them.
Michael Jordan intentionally missing the last 2 free throws to stay at 45 points in retribution for the “45 ain’t 23” comment from the Magic the year before was a perfect revenge.

Maaan this is the real GOAT. No crowning himself and controling the roster to put his undeserved son on the team
Best theme intro ever
The youth will never understand how great Mike was. This is just an insert. This isn't even him going in like that, just him trying to be efficient and focused to complete the sweep. The youth should also see how Shaq was irrelevant past 10 mins. Why he needed Kobe and Wade for rings.
Jordan was on cruise control most of this game . 12/18 after 3 qtrs 😅
RIP Brooks Thompson
Many ppl feels the Bulls were able to sweep the Magic was due to the face that Horace Grant was injured in the Hawks series and aggravated his injury in Game 1. But even if the Magic have all their players healthy, the Bulls would still have beaten them anyway. I was expecting this series to go down to 6 games with both teams splitting the first 4 games with home victories then the Bulls winning the crucial Game 5 back in Chicago before coming back to Orlando to wrap up and finish the Magic off.
Jordan's fadeaway like butter
Super fantastic ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Poor shaq too bad he didn’t have someone to tell him he could be the second greatest of all time if he just moved his feet and didn’t do chin-ups on the rim!
Love you shaq!
👍🏾✌🏾
5/27/96 also was the same night which featured a watershed moment in pro wrestling history:
Scott Hall debuted on WCW Monday Nitro, stunning the wrestling world and planting a seed for what would become the NWO
I remember that. My dad and me watched this game and then later on watched Nitro

Also, Stone Cold Steve Austin debuted his famous finishing manuver (the Stunner) on a taped Raw to Savio Vega.
Eric Bischoff, the boss of WCW who came up with the nWo stable idea, turned 39 on this day. Nitro also went to a two-hour show.
Jordan was such a smooth scorer
"Jordan was, like, the only skilled player out there."

14:48 "Company Man" Bavetta not calling a technical on O'Neal, who sure as hell deserved one.

Poor Shaq and Penny got a pissed off Mike.
He was in f-you mode all year
G.O.A.T michael
Shaq was so animated I new people 7 feet tall who can't dunk😂😂
Jordan hadn’t traveled this much since middle school! 😂😂 still the beast tho! Lol
But they call them though. They not calling traveling in this era.
I will always love watching shaq play
I can't wait until they put Zack Edey on them intro's will be a superstar
MJ was handing out that mid range work
This game is a perfect example about why the Bull won thanks to MJ, Shaq and the Magic were great even without Grant who got injured during this series, but still Dennis could make Shaq take some bad shots but not stopping him let alone Luc as big as he was he was no match for Shaq!
Stfu u weirdo u don't even make sense 😂😂
Nah, they weren’t winning game 2 regardless, maybe 3 or 4 but that Orlando team was not in a great head space. Shaq and Brian Hill at odds, Shaq’s Free agency.
@@kik5323 regardless of head space, that Orlando team didn’t win 61 games by accident.
Shaq leaving for LA Lakers.
OMG ,,,am I watching different basketball??
Michael Jordan intentionally missing the last 2 free throws to stay at 45 points in retribution for the “45 ain’t 23” comment from the Magic the year before was a perfect revenge.
Harper was superb and intelligent player...WOW
90s call travels very strict, today 8 steps no travel. 😂😂😂
Only shaq had that iconic backdown spin with a dunk with that massive height
The bulls were relentless
Jordan hanging up (#)45 intentionally is nasty work!
Best year of Shaq!
If sound is half of the movie, then Rodman… sorry, defense is half of the winning.
