- Iron has become an important material in today's Minecraft 1.19 adventures. So I took the liberty of innovating a previous OP yet efficient Iron Farm Minecraft in 1.19. So in this video, I show you how to build an Iron golem Farm in 1.19 Minecraft.

*Common problems and fixes*
1. The zombie dying. The zombie shouldn’t die if it is place all the way in the back. Ensure that the zombie is placed so that it lines up with the back wall.
2. The farm not working on bedrock. There is a SMALL change you need for this farm. In bedrock you need 20 beds with 10 villagers to spawn a golem, so just extend the platform 2 out and add 10 more beds!

What back wall do you mean? The one right next to the cartography tables?
@@treturk9 so you know where the glass wall is so he can watch them suffer? He means extend that wall.
@@anonymoushunter9808 once I’ve extended the platform and added 10 more beds do I need to block the villagers off so they can’t see the zombie for a day cycle again?
Also no iron golems have spawned after 20 mins
I made mine out of wood and then I placed a lava bucket and you know the rest very sad I can not believe I did not realise.

Sad lol once I was making a nether portal in my own survival world and my brother grabbed me and I placed the lava on my farm and I lost everything I grew. I lost stacks of hay bales. But at least my house didn’t burn. I have all my really valuable stuff in there like netherite and diamonds.

i have the solution if it doesn't work, in the bedrock edition you need at least 10 villagers and 20 beds to spawn 1 iron golem! so add 10 more beds to your farm.

10 more beds has golems spawning. But none of my villagers are in a panicked state and the zombie is like eye level with em. Tried moving it closer and nothing.

I noticed that the 2 side platforms you built on yours are 6x7 instead of 6x6 just putting this here if anyone is confused as to why his looked slightly different

Hey man, great farm, only problem is that you need to put barriers diagonally around the corners of the zombie block to protect it from the golems, I also figured out that the golems will often get stuck on the corner of the spawn platform and won’t fall down for a while as they just stare at the zombie. When I removed the spawn platforms and put slabs on every solid block they all just spawned in the water and fell to their death right away instead of getting stuck.

I did the 80 beds villager trade center combo, allows for three golums to spawn at once. Still only medium speed thought

for those of you having problems with the zombie dying. Try building a little pillar between the spawning platforms and the villager housing. also use a slab on the block that protects the zombie. This worked for me.
I understand the slab on top of the zombie. But I don't understand what a pillar between the zombie and villager housing does can you explain please?
U can also give the zombie a helmet so it won’t burn

When I did mine it didn't work so i did the thing he said at the end but it still doesn't work and now cats are going in the lava instead of iron golems

Yes, but the cactus can destroy the iron so you will lose some

Hey I built this on bedrock added the extra beds and the iron golems spawn under the farm not on it and also when they do spawn on the farm they dont get mad at the zombie
1) can i use any job?
2) i built it in the ocean
3)can i put more villagers in the villager room for more iron?
4) Can i put the zombie in a 1x1x2 box instead from a mine cart ?
you can use any job EXCEPT the composter.

Great tutorial and nice farm. But the zombie placement no longer works in 1.19.4 the iron golems kill it and I no longer have a name tag 😢

One of my villagers picked up the alchemist job from a brewing stand I had near by before I broke it, all the others are cartographers, could this be why I’m not getting iron golems? Really though I need to know why golems aren’t spawning. I got 20 beds for bedrock. I put a ton of time and resources into this thing.

Does this farm work over water? I have no iron golems spawning and I made this farm over the ocean
Fix for Iron Golem getting stuck on the corner. Raise the zombie plate form by one block, and place a slab on the corner where the golem is getting stuck

It was working, and now it stopped. Tried troubleshooting and replacing beds, as well as attempting to move the zombie, to no avail. Not sure where to go from here

Unless you have built it in the spawn chunks, no.
The villagers can be difrent like savana villagers and plains?
Will the villagers be able to sleep with this setup? In order for a villager to spawn an iron golem it must have slept in the last 20 minutes. If the villager always is panicking, it will never ve able to sleep and the iron golems will stop spawning after 20 minutes
You could have a daylight sensor block the zombie from sight at night
does it need to be stone blocks? and slabs?
no, it just needs to not be able to burn so no wood or wool
will this work for 1.18.2? on a one block server
can you cover the zombie or will the farm not work cuz my friends keeps killing the zombie and stop the farm

no, just a solid block,. But if you use wood near the lava it will burn

On bedrock edition you need the fram to be *at least 100 blocks away from any other villages, workstations or beds* unlike the 64 on java
why is it differemt :(
64 and 100 has basically zero difference
@@PastPositive yes but someone will want to build it close to home so they count 64 blocks away but then it doesn't work because you need 100

instead of naming the zombie you can put him inside of a boat and he will never despawn :D

Any block you want, except for wood because the lava would burn it.

Why does it have to be nearby an already existing village? Otherwise it wouldn't work, or just to save me the pain of getting villagers into position?

Farm won’t work, just put down 10 beds and give them bread and they can breed till they reach 10
@@RealJayden can they breed when scared? also the 3 lanes on my farm seems redundant, only 1 lane works making it really slow. is the the effect of having only 7 villagers?
it works with 3 villagers for me
I had 4 only so I made a breeding farm and then made 50 villagers took a long time but it was worth it as I added 2 village rooms to 1 farm which made it work great and I made two farms I get 860+ iron per hour

Should i not sleep? Or do i need to, in order to make the golems spawn on daytime? (Yknow, so its a faster cycle, or do i let it flow naturally day n night)
Also, is it slow if my golems spawn on a 33+ second interval? Is it slow?

P.s. my villagers are not running around, is the zombie not working?
They also show signs of black lava things floating around them from time to time, what does that mean?
