I used the lapis method when I found 1 -4 blocks of lapis I would count 5 steps out 4 different directions perpendicular to that lapis away and then dig straight down. there was a time when i found lapis i dug straight down in 2 directions and found 2 diamonds in each direction
Also an addition: If you see a patch of Tuff blocks at like y - 45 below, make sure to mine those tuffs because there is a possibilty that there is a diamond vein there, just have some patience since sometimes these patches of Tuff can be huge but still worth to mine, I got 30+ diamonds in 30 min - 1 hour (No Fortune Enchantment) with this tuff technique more than I got in strip mining.

But I ended up realizing after the fact that it still doesn't show the Y, but it does say if they're normal or diamond fossils in the name so you do still just have to dig indefinitely lol
@@KurvoMadeIt if the icon isn't showing up, you may have to zoom the map in or out more. A lot of them will only show if your zoomed at a certain range. I was having issues with that at first too.

all you have to do is load up your world. Make a nether portal, go in it, find a fortress, kill blazes, get nether wart go back home, make night vision potion find a good huge cave, use your potion. Boom you found diamonds. Also have a fortune III pickaxe.
finding diamonds is literally like 10 times easier now . they made giant caves to go through early game and then you can just stripmine once you have a pickaxe that has a lot of durability.

If you are on Bedrock and want 10 diamonds right next to each other, seed -6030733955758486060 dig straight down at -41/63/20 did not know this was possible.
I don’t think the last Method works anymore. When I traded my sticks they ran out of emeralds and when I traded with them again they were asking for 57 sticks instead of 32. And I’m on bedrock edition of Minecraft.
Minecraft bedrock works differently than java because bedrock villagers increase thier price if you give them too much sticks like the real world economy but in java villagers are more simple the lower thier trades every level up
The Most Effective way of getting Diamonds is End City Looting. If you have A Elytra And a bunch of rockets you can fly around and find end city's easily You can get stacks of diamonds, iron gold and shulker boxes and maybe elytra's in hours. But unfortunately you have to beat the dragon get lot of rockets to find them. One block crawl mining and adventuring Big Caves below deepslate level with fortune 3 is the most efficient way.
More efficient to have there rowdy in between each mineshaft as it will consume less pick axes and the odds of diamond being exclusively in the middle row of the wall is very low
How about just finding an abandoned mineshaft? I haven't been able find a single damn one since upgrading to 1.19.2! Just big caves with little more than coal, useless copper and a few blocks of iron.
How did u got diamonds with stone tools if its impossible to mine them without iron tools? And why there is changing game mode from survival to creative? Its one big cheat

Yeah same, I’ve double-checked and the fossil icon wasn’t showing. I even switched to java and nothing was shown.

On the bedrock edition(I don’t know if it works on Java) you can use respawn anchors instead of ancient debris for the mining machine

I went to an Ancient city and mined beneath the Sculk using fortune III I got abt 1.5 stacks within an hour definitely suggest that one

So the villagers are limited to 12 trades at a time, however they reset their trades every half Minecraft day by going back to their job block.

Crawl mining is actually extremely ineffective since you mine at nearly the same speed and discovering half the blocks
