One thing I find so impressive about her performances is that the backup dancers aren't there to make her look better; they are there to add to the spectacle. She's a great dancer in her own right.

She's a GREAT dancer. Few pop artists move like she does. I ABSOLUTELY think she's one of the world's TOP entertainers.
Let's not forget that the dance break for "Living For Love" at 3:12 occurred at the Brit Awards *mere seconds* after a horrendous fall where she was pulled off her feet by an overly-tight cloak not unfastening when dancers pulled her, leading her to fall backwards off a stage onto her head. To just get up after that and carry on with that dance routine so well is nothing short of remarkable.
Basically should have just uploaded the whole MDNA tour. I was so impressed with her, mid 50s dancing in heels on a multi leveled platform like that, it was insane from beginning to end!
I was always and i will impress seing her dance, i was at her birthday party in Cuba, la Habana, she was dancing on top of the dinner table at cubans music style, definetely only a queen can do that, is impressive to have her 1 meter infront of you. She dance, she sing, she act, shes a real queen!! The best!!!

Madonna will always and forever be my favorite performer ever. Not only is she STILL a hell of a performer, her theatrics are always over the top making her performances even better. Not to mention that she sings live. We have some great performers in this generation but in my humble opinion, none will come close to Madonna.
Madonna is indeed one hell of a performer no doubt! But what about Beyoncé, Britney, and Lady Gaga? They are really awesome performers too! Gaga and Beyoncé perform in high heels!
Jay H. Beyonce and Gaga are two of my favorite artists but Beyonce constantly does the same choreography and Gaga doesn't dance anywhere near Madonna. Britney in her prime was an amazing performer as well.
Not to mention Gaga hasn't changed her choreography one bit since the start of her career. She still does the same moves as her music vidoes: poker face, bad romance, born this way..... and the list goes on. Which is pretty disappointing since I think she can do so much more. Beyonce is a great performer and I'm into some of her choreography, but yes, it's still the same kinda moves. Madonna touches on different steps, different kinds of dances, always something that feels fresh.
Madonna performs in high heels. Probably not cut into this video but if you see Confessions, MDNA, Sticky and Sweet, Rebel Heart... high heels.

I have to admit I didn't keep up with Madonna in real time. It's a johnny come lately thing for me. But, I wasn't prepared for this. I've been catching up with her music which is very good, but her showmanship is EXTRAORDINARY!! This woman is obviously no stranger to hard work. So glad I decided to retrace these steps with her. What an amazing talent!

She is a better dancer then what people normally give her credit for. She takes care of her body and therefore she can do complicated dance routines even in her 50´s. She started out as a dancer, so she knows how important it is to stay fit and she is always in good shape when she is during her world tours. I don´t know if she still does this, but at one point she worked out everyday in the week to get into shape for her world tours. She is an amazing woman and she can still outperform pop stars that are half her age and tore up a stage. When she is sweating, you know thats because of how hard she is performing and pushing herself to the limit. She is in my eyes almost like an atlet, that works out almost non-stop. :)

As a dancer Madonna is original and unique. Unlike the vast majority of entertainers who execute the typical "video dance" choreography Madonna distinguished herself with her own moves. She combined ballet technique and various different styles (even folkloric) with her own original dance steps. Before watching the video I thought "the flamenco dance break from the Girlie Show Tour better be in the video" , glad it was included.

One thing I will say, Madonna is very versatile as a performer. People can say her dancing isn’t as complex as many counter parts and that’s their rightful opinion. But one thing you can’t take away from her is her stage presence, her stamina, and conviction, she not just a singer or a dancer. She is a performer and that’s why she’s earned her spot amongst the greats! She’s a true Icon/Legend!

I do a lot of sports and i am much younger than madonna , but the jumps on the single Music are fucking phenomenal , it takes a lot of muscles and a lot of endurance and excellent balance. I dare anyone in their 40s to do it as fast and as well as she does and as many times of course . This is truly some fucking performance right there .

What an absolute legend! Im turning 53 next year and I have loved this woman since the age of 13. For 40 years she has never ceased to amaze me with her songs, music videos and live performances. Plus she dances in a couple of different styles ( not as much as Madonna that’s true) but she masters them perfectly .
