+Joe Savory I'm a natural born petrol head as such I like a car that drives very well, it's a big sacrifice just for a high diving position cars like this are slower, not as nice to drive, more expensive to buy and run than a normal hatchback. I don't get any fizz off of them.
+doctormac123 Same, I've been obsessed with cars since I could talk and dream of owning a Focus RS, but cars like the Skoda Yeti prove that crossovers don't have to be boring to drive, and tbh if I want thrills I wouldn't be buying a family sized car like an Astra, so I may as well spend it on a crossover for the same money. They're economical too, I have a friend who has a Qashqai who gets around 65-70 mpg, it's when you get into huge SUVs like a Sorrento when it gets costly.

I wonder really what class this competes in considering the Q3 is a subcompact crossover. Furthermore it makes me wonder more of Audi's nomenclature and what a mess it's becoming. While Q means crossover/suv, they're usually odd numbered [Q3, Q5, Q7] and odd numbers typically mean coupe as well [A5, A7] yet the A3 is a sedan and a hatch as well. This is all getting confusing. At least there's consistency with other luxury automakers.
I've done really well for myself I own a bmw 1 series, yes it's the cheapest model bmw produce and yes it's miles away from the range topping luxury of the 7 series.

everyone complains when audi basically 'photocopies' there car design and now when they decide to be a bit bold everyone seems to slate them... I like the looks I saw one in red with a silver sideblade and 18' wheels and it looked really sharp, also imagine this as a young families car that once had a polo or an A1 and realised they needed more space than a supermini but wants something that stands out more than an A3 with a funkier interior, I actually really like it and I hate crossovers at least it looks like they gave it a bit of effort and I can see who this car actually appeals too
The Countryman-class of SUV's is the smallest you can go with an SUV, without sacrificing any interior space. It's great for 5 and has solid boot space. The packaging is perfect. Not sure about the Q2 execution though. The design is busy without being distinctive. The tech on the other hand is very impressive for such small car. Not so sure about the superminis, those tend to be too small either in the back seats or the boot. The Golf-class on the other hand is +20 cm larger, not so great in the city.
I think they should make a whole new MPV Body Style With the O3 Range Which has an S and RS Variants (Ford B Max Rival With the O5 Range With has S and RS variants and also has a coupè body style variant for the A2 heritage (Ford C max Rival) The O7 Range With RS and S variants (Ford Smax rival) And A O7 L which rivals a Ford Galaxy
I like the design but the colour and the wheels in the test doesn't fit the Q2 well. Choose the sharp red or blue colour and the big open wheels. Not the boring wheels in the test.

BMW X1 starting price here in Ireland 39,000, Q2 starting price 30,000. I think this Q2 actually makes a lot of sense, most Audi drivers live in the city, this is a city suv for want of a better term. One you can park in tight spots, get around the city in be a bit fashion statement and posh with the badge, but also a lot of City people drive to the mountains/beach on the weekends, and while they never go offroad, they do on dirt tracks etc. Hiking and all of that stuff is becoming fashionable. I know I would prefer this to the A3, as I live in a city but pop out of it every weekend for recreation.

It's definitely better looking than a Q3 but who would pick this over an A3? The design is too playful for an Audi, it could have been a small VW crossover based on a Polo. And the two-tone interior is just awful.

The Audi Q7 and Q5 are 2 of the best luxury SUVs they are pretty perfect, sadly i do not feel like the Q3 or the Q2 will have success, considering that the new Volkswagen Tiguan is cheaper,better looking,more powerful and cheaper car, the Tiguan will probably get sold way more just because it looks so good.

l think you'll find Audi had this light design firstly introduced on the facelift A6 a couple of years back
Volvos new german Designer was the chef designer for the VW company if you know what i mean.
