I’ve had a black edition for the past month, hated them at first but they’ve grown on me a lot. I don’t think it’s worth getting without the virtual cockpit, sunroof or comfort package as the interior is so basic without them
"not a car to take the long way home" - prehaps it's the model he drove! The automatic is worth it if you spend time in heavy traffic and the 35 TDi is superb, a real pocket rocket and addresses all the issues in the 35 petrol auto (clunky at very low parkings speeds, poor grip on start off and no power until the engine revs are up) - 35 TDi is an excellent town and motorway car - quiet and with immediate get up and go - no issues at all with grip at junctions etc since it is 4 wheel drive. I'd say worth a test drive but as they appear a very rare beast then good luck finding one! My one is a keeper!
Ignore the comments made by all reviewers about cheap trim - Audi spent the money on sorting out the suspension and driving dynamics! Want a nice look - buy an Alfa/ want a car that is comfy and you can spend 13 + hours in to cross a continent - get a Q2
all reviews concentrate on the cheap trim - no issue unlike the random placement of the switches! eg volume control - the red led for the alarm look like a DIY installation! BUT Audi did spend money on the important parts - suspension is excellent and so is its handling. DSG gearbox OK but not as smooth as a BMW - but in 2 litre diesel it shifts and the diesel engine's torque gets around the low speed issues with the DSG gearbox. The chap says it leans - it handles v well. Get a spare wheel if ordered from new and the sports steering wheel is lovely. Also the Audi sound system is OK

IV got one, not very practice a bit thirsty but... It shifts like a mofkr... so I love it!

Exactly looked at both and q3 is alot more out of our price rage.
