This torch really surprised me. 500 damage a hit against a bull-goat's set is very nice damage from a torch. This is slightly different from my usual videos since it's more focused on the weapon/mask than trying to cosplay in a specific way. I also use more colosseum here than I usually do, because I needed a bit of a break from the worst side of PvP. 😂
invading as a cosplay is always difficult since depending on the pieces, you'll end up lacking in attack or defense, forcing you to make up for it in skill.
Technically, the lantern does in fact actually use the full moveset of small/medium shields, which naturally includes the blocking frames. Even the way you block with it in the offhand or twohanded is identical to shields. The label of 'torch' is practically meaningless in this case!
The only reason it is in the torch category is due to its ability to get brighter when guarding This has nothing to do with anything but since the torch raise counts as a guard (this includes the head) you can shield poke with torches
Well damn I didn't realize that invisibility makes you even more transparent than the other 2 invis options. That's why it lasts only 15 seconds. This could be great for invasions on a surprise build.
lovely cosplay, real cool dual at 2:48 extremelly sweaty, point down lowkey deserved, maybe the calm down emote would fit too edit: they really should fix so you can transform while in roundtable hold, need to jump down to where you get invaded to transform before duel sucks big time
Scuffed Bloodborne cosplays would be interesting to see if Saneroot ever decided to make a series about that, with the new DLC crossbows being more close to guns, I'd say the humanoid bosses would be fun to play as
I'd love to do Scuffed Bloodborne. The only issue is that I need to buy a Playstation and figure out how the recording would work. I'd also need to play through the entire game. That or I'll need to use clips from other people. Either way, it's happening in the nearby future. 😄
I was running a Lamenter build at 66 strength and the mask did piss for damage, at least at 99 it seems slightly better? Vaatividya posted on some dlc buff/transformation video that the Lamenter head used to do tons of poise damage and send enemies flying in the preview they sent out. Too bad it got nerfed before release!
Saving point downs for meta sweat goobers isn't toxic, it's the sweetest of necters. It would have been lam if you _didn't_ point down at that BHS poker
I feel I'd actually like the Lamenter's Mask if only it had 2 things. 1. Better damage: For 99 STR, the fact you can't break even 400 is disappointing for an attack slower than a Colossal 2:24 2. Hyper Armor/Super Armor: I'd make it similar to Palm Blast where you essentially become immovable while performing the Lamenter Mask attack to actually get the damage off since you literally have no poise
Actually surprised that the setup isn't god awful. love the vid. also, what's the music that starts at around 2:40? its a banger and I need it in my life.
My bad, I forgot to add the song names in the description again. It's "Tourney Battle 3" from World of Warcraft (here's one in a link I found: ua-cam.com/video/QejEIXYXS4o/v-deo.html)
i thought maybe the torch has a unique interaction with the mask, but, i guess not. they should make it so that if you're transformed, and you're two-handing the torch, you turn fully invisible until you use the mask, i was hoping i could make a jumpscare build. xD
Ah yes I did this build a couple days ago... but I also made sure that if I won the duel it turned into a stalemate by using Thioliers Concoction immediately... which didn't often happen haha
I don't know the name but it's from an old Ubisoft game, Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc Edit: Lol, looks like they got it in the description already. I assumed they didn't since you asked.
Of course. I just mean I play by my own "honor rules" but I don't really get mad if other people don't follow them. Like how I tend to avoid healing first in PvP. And tbh for me people breaking such rules just makes it more fun to beat them.

I dig the techno music. What’s the name of the song?
Rayman 3: Hoodboomer
@@SanerootYT Great choice. Sounds like something that plays when the "joke" boss isn't actually a joke boss and starts beating your ass

True but thankfully deflecting tear is broken and can come in clutch for these builds
wow really surprising how this actually works as a build. Was satisfying seeing the Lionel armour guy lose to it
1:34 the music into the lamenters cry 😭😭😭

That's interesting, and makes sense now that I think on it. 😄

10/10 against mages specifically since you can throw ashes of war like spectral lance and make it actually surprising
lovely cosplay, real cool

Great video. Love the commitment to authenticity and skill to make it work

However it is, good luck! Loving the content so take your time!
I have done a series of scuffed bloodborne cosplay pvp builds. Need to bring it back with dlc once I get a usable controller

Hmm, I suppose it could be because of Blue Dancer Charm too. 🤔
good video man! and im right there with ya on the coliseums, duels used to have so much respect in ds3, so sweaty now.
10/10, @ZullietheWitch would be proud of the role commitment.
damn the outro emote with deathbird outfit is crazy
Wow, big up for using music from the Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc OST!
Super fun, earned a sub. I got bullied so hard by Radahn that I griefed him once with that make up.
That parry was sick!

The fact that it has a unique moveset is just crazy... like what (nvm it has the shield moveset but still)

super rare weapon to see in pvp
A scuffed aged old one cosplay?
Useing the Mad pumpkin helm, unescapable frenzy and some thorn grab like fias robe? I think it would be pretty funny
Not a bad idea honestly, I'll put that on my list of video ideas. 👍
ngl I want to see more video with his cosplay
I've never seen someone use this weapon even after all this time when the dlc came out
It also works on cooperators, its funny being hidden and then poof, night warrior
i thought maybe the torch has a unique interaction with the mask, but, i guess not.

hiiii man, nice treat
I love the silly laugh build
Ah yes I did this build a couple days ago... but I also made sure that if I won the duel it turned into a stalemate by using Thioliers Concoction immediately... which didn't often happen haha
When i feel silly I just put on my Lamenter mask and go PvP or Invading. I've had some funny kills
That's the spirit!
with all the new spells the DLC added you can make a more accurate aldia moveset than ever
Hail to the ladle warrior.
Around 3:30 did you get a true combo with the mask and then lantern hit? If so was the lantern hit a heavy or light attack?
It always kinda bugs me when people use an off-hand dagger to parry but never use the parrying dagger.
so technically this torch is the ultimate parry counter
Someone in the comments said torches can be parried, so it could be false info on my part. 😅
Pretty sure you can parry torches, small and medium shields.
Oh wow, I actually had no idea.
Whats the armor set called
Not an armor, but a full body transformation from the item Lamenter's Mask.
Skull lantern🗣🔥
Pretty sure there’s a faith torch you can get to 800 ar stacking normal buffs but this might be the second best
Can you inflict the same status effect as the boss with the mask item?
thoughts on maruchan chicken flavored ramen?
Yes
Only if it's spicy
What sound track is playing?
I don't know the name but it's from an old Ubisoft game, Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
Edit: Lol, looks like they got it in the description already. I assumed they didn't since you asked.
do a sir vilhelm cosplay pls
Can you do slave knight gael please
What armor is that
This a mod?
Nope, it's from the item "Lamenter's Mask'.
Algorithm boost ⚡️
I wish there were more fun players like you in pvp but unfortunately it's dominated by pokes and back hand blades
you say player-made rules like they don't mean anything, all rules are made by people
Of course. I just mean I play by my own "honor rules" but I don't really get mad if other people don't follow them. Like how I tend to avoid healing first in PvP.
