This build is near perfect. You have microcosm + zamor for AoE damage. Slicer + Adula + Piercer which combos great up close. Shard spiral + Comet for big damage and chase down into sword spells. The only thing I’d change is probably swift glinstone over star shower since I generally saw you weaken enemies to the point where it’d finish the kill faster. Great build

Bit late cos I’ve been avoiding spoilers while finishing my playthru, love seeing the new drips, weapons, spells and locations! Ngl I was worried about the nerfs to some of my faves in the mage arsenal (spinning weapon, my beloved!) but oof! When microcosm lands it hits hard! Can’t wait to see more of what you make from the DLC goodies!

With the new dlc I want to play a nee character, focusing on str/arc using dragon communion and bloodflame incantations, together with bleed or occuly infused weapons, like crescent moon axe or flambarge, with a main weapon being an Executioner's GS 🤔
Great set up! Magic glintblade x2 into collapsing stars is another great combo gets people panic rolling so I can catch them with the gravity bolt roll catch

You are actually my example on how to play a caster, so i've been meaning to ask a couple things if you don't mind. What do you think of the Beloved Stardust talisman and the Glintblade Trio? Is Carian greatsword worth it at all instead of just using Adula's? Why does your game always look that much lighter and less saturated ? xd Keep up the good work, showing that a true wizard is so much more than a petty spammer.
@@KanaraVelunaThanks i appreciate it! I actually havent used beloved stardust talisman or glintblade trio yet, stardust talisman sounds good but the extra damage you take worries me. I prefer adulas moonblade over carian greatsword just because of the projectile that comes out when casting it

And as for the visuals, no, they don't look bad, but they do look different on your video than they do on my game, or in other elden ring videos. ChaseTheBro could be an example, everything looks darker, specially notably on the health/stamina/fp bars. I actually think it looks pretty on yours, so wanted to try it, but it might be just the brightness setting.
@@KanaraVeluna I get asked alot about my picture settings, and the reason it looks the way it does is because i upload everything using a 4k HDR tv and in the elden ring menu i have the HDR saturation setting maxed out at 10

It’s just also hard to have a good stat spread at lvl 160-180 when you’re leveling up like 4 different damage stats with vig/end/mind on top of that lmao

question, does the staff of azur still increase the PA needed to cast spells even if you only hold it in your hand to benefit from its effects and cast spells with another staff?

Don't tell the hunter to uninstall. Bro could've had a bathroom break. Plus, you know how long it takes to get summoned as a hunter. I've played for hours without being summoned. I've went afk completey forgetting I have it on.

Grav missile seems nice as a instant cast at your feet "hey get off me" kinda spell. Microcosm is nice for the "oh man this thing is about to explode I have to focus on dodging it" kind of thing. good luck out there.
@@Rain1 Yea barrier of gold had a 60% nerf i believe so its really not that great anymore and forget microcosm and use gravitational missle its so much better because you can aim into the ground for instant aoe blasts
ancient death rancor 3x plus running in and spamming carian slicer = instakill everything. you can not dodge that much. it works for magma too, do the magma spell that delays the explosions, do 3 rykards rancor then go in and r1 with anything and they die. might be less fun but aye
nop ill beat your rotation with my mage, number 1 thing wrong is carian slicer should be first, that way you can hold your spell rotation button to slicer for anyone in melee range, next spells should be hyperarmor to win trades or swift shard to dance and sting, then AOE to push anyone nearby away, THEN range spells
I need help for making 150RL builds. Because 150 is respected meta. Very mage focused with tight little melee option type of build. How would you allocate your stats on that level

huh, i just realized you started this class on vagabond. You do lose some levels because of it but im sure you're aware. Who actually wants to play an entire other character through all of this again (at least if not on PC, on pc just download save file yay)

question, does the staff of azur still increase the PA needed to cast spells even if you only hold it in your hand to benefit from its effects and cast spells with another staff?
@@valeriomangiavacchi3773 Azur staff only increases casting speed so it doesnt matter which hand its in, it will boost casting speed for both staffs that you’re using

@@stevie31 I appreciate all the responses you've given. I didn't even realize that it was nerfed lol. I came back to elden ring because of the dlc and am finally wanting to dip my toes into the pvp. Sweet. That's great news for me who wants to copy your build lol.
Last final question. Gravitational missile or fleeting microcosm? Grav missile seems nice as a instant cast at your feet "hey get off me" kinda spell.
Microcosm is nice for the "oh man this thing is about to explode I have to focus on dodging it" kind of thing.

@@Rain1 Yea barrier of gold had a 60% nerf i believe so its really not that great anymore and forget microcosm and use gravitational missle its so much better because you can aim into the ground for instant aoe blasts

ancient death rancor 3x plus running in and spamming carian slicer = instakill everything. you can not dodge that much. it works for magma too, do the magma spell that delays the explosions, do 3 rykards rancor then go in and r1 with anything and they die. might be less fun but aye

nop ill beat your rotation with my mage, number 1 thing wrong is carian slicer should be first, that way you can hold your spell rotation button to slicer for anyone in melee range, next spells should be hyperarmor to win trades or swift shard to dance and sting, then AOE to push anyone nearby away, THEN range spells

I need help for making 150RL builds. Because 150 is respected meta. Very mage focused with tight little melee option type of build. How would you allocate your stats on that level

@ Im on ps5 and i dont have discord. You dont need to light roll, i always keep the carian shield on me to keep myself at medium roll
huh, i just realized you started this class on vagabond. You do lose some levels because of it but im sure you're aware. Who actually wants to play an entire other character through all of this again (at least if not on PC, on pc just download save file yay)

I can never really get myself to bother playing mage. Not sure what it is, whether I dont like the idea of the playstyle, or if I've just brainrotted myself into only being able to associate mage with noskill spam
