As someone who compulsively has all 6 equipment slots filled at all times on every build I make, simply for the sake of attack variety, am no stranger to kneecapping myself for the sake of cool factor.

Seeing Prelates Charge reminds me... I have a 'Drake Ravager' build themed around Bloodflame, Runebears, Dragon Communion, and some other beastlike stuff. It uses a bunch of weapons, one of which is the Butchering Knife with Prelates Charge, but I apply Bloodflame on it instead of fire infusion. That combination does very good bleed buildup, heals you surprisingly rapidly, and can completely stunlock medium foes, like Banished Knights. ...Oh, and it looks cool AF. Lest i forget that part.

Sucks that the dlc didn't add an ounce of new death blight content. They also introduced hand-to-hand and gave us two near duplicate weapons for it, and introduced fire lightning and gave us a single incantation that focuses on it.
