This might look painfully weak, but this build was the most fun I've had in Elden Ring PvP for a while. It reminds me of the good old Handmaid's Ladle days in DS2. 🥲
Honestly just huge props for getting the Frenzied Flame skin for maximum hollow appearance! Really sold the look. I know torch hollows don't do the flame breath attack but it's such a cool move that doesn't come up a ton so I'm happy to see it get some love!
It's crazy tbh, i'm rl 150 on xbox and i literally never once saw anyone using the two new Radahn swords, just miquellas light lol. Compare that to ds3 where pretty much everyone used Gaels sword at some point
Torch hollows are actually a neat little bit of psychological trickery. Easily countered with a shield, but the slight chip damage they do encourages obsessive players to avoid blocking and open themselves up to the brutal combo attacks.
I actually had quite a few people who didn't take it seriously (enough), switching to un-upgraded weapons or torches only to be surprised by the damage I did. 😆
4:45 met this guy a few times while invading, no summons solo taunter playthrough and no blue phantoms as well. Very rare and sigma host ive encountered.
I just love the amount of detail that is put into these cosplay videos, i remember the time i used to do all sorts of cosplay attempts in DS2/DS3 fun times! I still try to do them whenever i have the chance in Elden Ring but it's a little bit harder to do proper invasions in there. Keep up the good work! ^^
If you want a suggestion for doing some creative cosplay stuff, I REALLY suggest Combat Ordeals. People are generally a bit more chill there, and since you come back when you die you can get way gimmickier. Cosplaying bosses that swap phases when they die also becomes way more interesting since you can ACTUALLY HAVE A PHASE TWO
I love using torches in PvP because they have some genuinely powerful effects but everyone underestimates them. The things stagger HARD. I personally prefer running it in the Combat Ordeals because you sometimes actually see their reaction through gestures and its always so funny
@@SanerootYT Technically it CAN be used as an Off-hand weapon, but it has to use the Torch Attack ash of war which means you can only use the torch heavy attack, and can't use an actual ash

Fully relate to just severing out sometimes when a host gives me an entertaining invasion, always a nice break from crab shack "duelists" and L2 gamers. If I break out the bare fists and you also do then you deserve to live, I think.

If you’re on PS, I believe I have fought that PCR with my Alonne cosplay. When he went into phase 2 and did light of miquella, it was all over for him, but he was still really fun to fight :3
Can i ask you something? In Ds3 i have this loadout i like to call "Drift Keeper" wich is badically me,with fire keeper clothes, an helmet of my liking and two-handed farron greatsword. How could i replicate it in ER? Wich weapon and ashes of war are the most similar to the farron greatsword's moveset?

I’ve had this experience with using some lesser used off hand weapons. I’ll have to try offhand torched in the future.
It's also nice because it feels very thematic for Torch Hollow, as they had strong poise damage.

If you were unable to simulate the torch hollow rush attack, savage claws AoW would be kinda close in feel. Use fire grease to mimic the look
