They spendig this amount of money on colabs 95%+ of players dont care about, but also fire the castors we love and staf that they could use to improve the game.
They could also, just mabe, be used to finaly get UE5, and not UE3 that were made in 1998.
I'm not sure what people expect epic to add to this game to keep it interesting or relevant. Why should I be surprised that a 30 year old is quitting playing a video game after playing it for 20,000 hours? Dumb take. Waste of time.

not removing things the community loved for years would be a great start to keep the game interesting or relevant..
the RL modding community produces nothing but gold, yet Epic barely considers a fraction of their contributions. i love this game, but in order to save it from death, we need more game modes, interactive events, TRADING BACK, maybe a Workshop Map portal for console players??? (etc. etc.) there's so much that Epic could do to make everyone happy while increasing their revenue. it would be a win-win situation if they weren't so blissfully ignorant of their die-hard community.

LMAO nah man if you're having fun with it, THAT'S what matters. Just because me or any other creators start talking smack on the game, doesn't mean you're not allowed to have fun and enjoy it yourself!
Yeah keep playing don't worry bout nobody else the game is really good to play on and off for me just not consistently due to the lack of content and, it can get repetitive because it becomes really hard to rank up

Plats and golds don’t ever make it up on the big screen, they all get out during qualifiers which are never displayed by official rocket league channels.
Gold is the minimum to sign up for quals not for the tournament im p sure, quals arent streamed either but that would be funny as fuck to watch

sorry to take that back but taking off trade was the worst thing they did to this game i rly think that a big part of the community just stopped playing cause of that. Trade was actually cool between games or even trading for hours on the discord seeking for your dream item at a cheap cost. Now you cannot do anything else than playing, raging, quitting the game, being angry, sleep, start again the next day... i see that as playing the game is the food and trade is the water u need both to live right ? they just got rid of the water so we can only eat now ... but for how long will that last :/

I just started couple days ago (returned after 3 years) and im having a lot of fun. Its defenitely not gonna die
you had SOME valid points but you clearly still don't understand what everything even is, 1st off. THAT is not rlcs, it's just an extra tournament they are doing called "Champions road" consisting of 1v1, 2v2, and RUMBLE 3v3. no standard 3v3, so no rlcs-like tournament, so naturally the prizepool is incredibly low, it's just a fun tournament for people. NOW, yes the actual prizepool has been lowered from last years rlcs, but we knew this already back in december when they disclosed how the next rlcs season was gonna be. I do still think they are using WAY too much money on collabs and money that we honestly couldn't care less about.. they could change all these decals just a TINY bit (get rid of logo etc.) and bam, saved millions of dollars and we, the consumers get a pretty much identical car and more money actually put towards the game we love. The truth is, they simply don't care. As for golds being able to play, diamonds and above have been able to compete for the entire season, doesn't change much, they get knocked out instantly
i actually found out about "champions road" after this video went out but it was too late to change it since the video was already out. i'm also super aware that golds will not make it to the higher games of rlcs, but they did lower the rank requirements which was just absolutely stupid since this is going to be the main reason rlcs won't even start until september especially when we're used to watching it in july to early august.

1:21 hello! cool video, just wanted to point out that epic games make money from the collabs, its like when soccer players have adidas on their jersey, they dont pay for that, the brands pay. The soccer players do it to get money. and so does epic with there "collabs"
Sure you can be mad about Epic for doing all these collabs with not much new content, but a whole ton of people still enjoy the game. Sunless did not quit and posted not to long ago, and many other major creators are still posting like Mertzy, Musty, Squishy, and other "OG" creators. Additionally, the cybertruck challenges were super easy to complete so I'm not sure what the fuss is around there, I didn't even party up but I did them early maybe they changed the challenge later. Finally, there will be no golds, plats, diamonds, or champs in RLCS. They won't qualify, and if they somehow did manage to get to the actual live events which are Infront of many people way later RLCS finals or semis, it would be interesting because they must have eliminated pros. That's my take. Don't clickbait the title
That player who couldn't play in a party didn't deserve the truck. If they are so unintelligent that it never occurred to them to just press the party up button after every game, or if he is so bad nobody wants to party up that he must be over ranked, its their own fault.

It's quite clear that epic has already written off rocket league. It might not be long before they kill/write it off completely if they ever feel that it's a waste of resources and the cost outweighs it's benefit
