- Today we are setting sail on the Disney Magic, the oldest Disney Cruise ship in celebration of the Disney Cruise Line’s 25th anniversary - the Silver Anniversary at Sea. We’ll explore the Disney Magic including the new lounge based on the Pixar film Soul. We’ll watch Tangled The Musical, do some shopping, eat dinner in Animator’s Palate and have a good time. the magic is so nostalgic for me because i sailed on it during its inaugural year with my parents. i haven't watched this yet, but i just wanted to remind you guys what a source of light you are to me and others. thank you so much for doing what you do and being a temporary reprieve from everyday life for so many people. i know it's hard right now, but just know that you are so loved. 💖

Towel animal was probably a dog and the head fell off and unrolled 😅 I took the towel folding class on the last cruise so i recognize the shape lol! Also, im a former CM of the inaugural crew of the Magic ...so glad youre having a magical time aboard ❤❤ 😊

My first cruise, my first and only wedding proposal happened on the Magic in November 1999. Then boyfriend now husband had the ring hidden in his suit pocket and proposed in Palo’s on the last night. This will always be my favorite ship.

Amazing! As a Navy Vet I have to mention… Be grateful for the muster drill. This might be an inconvenience however it can save your life. You never think it’s going to happen until it happens. Everyone should take this serious, pay close attention and be properly prepared.
Oh I’m not complaining about the muster drill just complaining about how it’s handled. The way they did it during the return from the pandemic was better

The towel animal is Grogu, the upper towel is the ears and the rest is his little cloak he wears. They probably got the idea from the door.

Hi guys! What a fun time!
I'm Italian American and Zeppoles (zep-pole-ees) are a staple treat. Unfortunately, the zeppoles made now taste NOTHING like the original. It was a treat we used to get on the boardwalk when we were kids. The dough is deep fried and each zeppole is light and tender. They were the size of a marshmallow. Right out of the fryer they were put into a white paper bag with powdered sugar and you would shake the bag. The best Zeppoles were found on the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ. I'm sorry your experience was not authentic.
The key is getting them fresh, hot, and shaken in a bag with powdered sugar. They don't keep so you have to eat them right away. 🎉 thank you for all of your wonderful videos and we hope the repairs on your home will be fast and trouble free. Hugs, Simmy & Richard Bell

Every time my dad, sister, and I go to NJ to see family, we always go to see the fireworks in Berkeley Heights. I try to get a bag of zeppoles every time I'm there because they're just so good! They're made like the ones you've mentioned and they're just so heavenly.

I get so emotional watching anything with the Magic in it. I was 8 years old when we set sail on the inaugural cruise and my family and I still talk about how amazing it is. This year will be my 3 year olds first Disney cruise and it's crazy how it all comes full circle!

A favorite at NJ/NYC pizza places. Straight outta the pizza oven and tossed in powdered sugar is soooooo good!!! Like a crunchy chewy funnel cake.

Hey Peter so the reason the hosts etc are usually British or Australian is because they are Foreign they can pay them slightly less as they don't have to adhere to the full American rate as they aren't citizens similar thing happens at the summer camps (Im an Aussie who has worked in the US summer camps ) oh and plus we are pretty awesome lol looks like you guys had an amazing time :)
Oh I knew about that for the entire cast across the fleet but why do you never see like an Indian host or an Asian host or a host from anywhere but uk or australia?

We went on our first Disney cruise (never been on any cruise before!) this past March on the Magic out of New Orleans…best vacation we ever had! I thought going to WDW was the best vacay but cruising is the way to go for me! I can relax yet still be immersed in the Disney Magic!

I teared up watching the sail away party. 😭 Then again in Animator's Palate when I heard the Fantasmic music in the background. I can't get my husband on a cruise to save my life, so my Disney cruise will most likely be a solo trip. Guess it's gotta be a Star Wars theme trip, to find my Hans cruising buddy. 😂

Hello Kitra and Peter!!! Can you believe we had no Internet service for 57 days straight because of Frontier upgrading its equipment. I think that towel animal is a squid. That triangle is the head and the other part is the tentacles extending from the elongated part of the body. I just started catching up on your videos now that I have worked extremely hard to catch up on my work. Imagine no Internet from 8-16-23 until 10-11-23 , I was stressed out and did not sleep well. Thank God we finally got our Internet back. I shall admit that I did use a few gb of data on my iPhone to watch a few minutes of only the beginning of some of your videos to de-stress when my da6 was too hectic and intense. THANK YOU KITRA AND PETER FOR YOUR AMAZING VIDEOS !!! ❤❤❤ God bless you and keep you both happy, healthy, and safe.

Always nice to experience the nostalgia. We just booked our very first Disney cruise on the Wonder 4day Baja in April and are looking forward to it. It is both of ours first cruise, unless you consider Navy cruises. Glad to see your able to put out vids, it will help take your minds off the house repairs.

My aunt works for Disney cruise line and one way or another my family got to tour the bridge of the Disney Wish and my brother got to honk the ship’s horn! It’s definitely one of my favorite memory’s from that cruise. Disney cruise line is just AMAZING!

Our family went on the Dream a few years ago. It was our first Disney cruise. Last year, when the discount came up for Disney+ subscribers, we jumped at the chance to go again, leaving from New Orleans. The Magic was our vessel. While it was clear to see what Disney had "learned" from the Magic in the construction of the Dream, our cruise on the Magic was no less magical! In many ways, it was more relaxed. A small ship is easier to get around and really take advantage of!

@@goofyme1659 We saw it September of last year. I think it was an email? Disney+ subscribers would have their 3rd and 4th guest sail for free after the 1st and 2nd paid their way. It was only on select sailings. Like, you wouldn't have been able to take advantage of it on the Wish. But it worked out great for us because New Orleans was a port we always wanted to check out. So we were able to do the cruise and then do a few days in the city after! Our travel agent said she had never seen a deal like that for DCL. I guess it was their way of recouping losses from the pandemic.

My first Disney cruise was on the Magic in the Mediterranean for our 25th anniversary six years ago. We made friends that we are still in contact with and fell in love with Disney cruises. So much that we took a three day Bahamian Disney cruise last year for our 30th. Looking forward to the rest of your trip!!! I just heard about the horribleness of what happened during the hurricane, I'm so glad you guys are OK and I hope a lot of your stuff wasn't trashed. ❤❤

Also I want to say, a few years ago a storm caused a tree to fall into my sons bedroom and caved in the roof. It was such a stressful and worrying time, I understand what youre going through and Im thinking of you both during this. So glad you are safe! It will get better!! lots of love!
I will say if you ever decide to go on a cruise definitely get the motion sick bracelets and go on a bigger ship because you feel it a lot less. This ship is one of the smaller ones and you could feel the motion
