One time at dinner on the disney Fantasy I told the server I didn't want anything for dessert, there was nothing with chocolate so I was just going to get ice cream after dinner. When everybody's Desert was brought I had a plate covered, when I took the cover off it said nothing very pretty written in chocolate. We all could not stop laughing years later we still joke about it😂

A top blogger suggests getting an extra milk/cereal , fruit, donuts etc the day before and put in your fridge. That way no matter how early you have to disembark, you can get a decent calm breakfast.

There’s not as much Disney cruise content, because every ship is different, but I would check out their videos ranking cruise ships as a whole and cruise ship restaurants specifically. They won’t go through the whole menu, but they’ll probably mention one or two fan favorite dishes at each. That or there’s probably more detailed reviews on the dfb website. (Though yes, more cruise videos would be appreciated)

Def try other Disney cruise vlogs. I haven’t yet been on a cruise, but they seem quite honest. I enjoy Legglife, Ordinary Adventures, and Jen LaForge. Some are older, and all are generally positive, but will give you an overall feel.

Unless something has recently changed, Cabanas is definitely open for breakfast on your final disembarkation day (not sure about Marceline Market on the Wish). Your servers don't offer that info up front, and basically tell you to come to whatever MDR your assigned to. But on every single cruise we've taken the buffet has also been open. We always head there an hour or so before we have to vacate our stateroom so that we don't have to haul our carryon bags to breakfast (which you'll have to do if you have the later MDR time). When we we are done, we grab our bags and leave the ship. It makes for a much less stressful morning.

The buffet is open for breakfast the last morning on debarkation day. It’s a more limited menu but it is a nice option to leisurely enjoy your last breakfast before leaving the ship- especially if you have early dining and don’t want to do the 7:30am breakfast time.

With experience with Palo vs. Remy, I can 100% attest to the fact that at Remy you have to watch out for add-ons which could be hundreds of dollars extra for your dinner. We never experienced those options at Palo. We did a lot of add-ons at Remy and loved the experience. I’m over 60 and have never spent more for dinner for 2 anywhere. It was an experience that all these years later we still talk and laugh about. No regrets at all.

My hubby and I sailed on the Disney Fantasy a few months ago, and dined at both Remy and Palo. I loved them both, but preferred Remy, while my husband enjoyed Palo more. That's just a matter of preference. Although these specialty restaurants are a bit pricey, I think that Remy's food was comparable to Victoria and Alberts at a fraction of the cost, so this might be a way to experience fine dining at a pretty reasonable price. IMHO, of course.

We went on a DCL cruise and the kids had a cool coloring option and my friend and I (in our late 30s at the time) said in the presence of our servers that that looked like fun. It’s not actually true that you can’t eat in the food halls on debarkation day, they are open for a limited seating with a smaller menu. If you have an early flight and have to do the express walk off option. We have enjoyed that option on many of our cruises, including as recently as last year. It’s not as nice as the sitdown meal, but it is nice to have the option if you prefer it or need it. Thank you for everything you do at DFB!

Thank you for this video. I’m taking my 4 year old on our first cruise (and her Nana’s 6th). I’m hoping my child will try something new, and not just eat Mac and cheese and fries.
We’re hoping to get on a spot for the Olaf’s Royal picnic on The Wish.
I’m still looking for a better video here on UA-cam on the food choices for that special dining event.
Will your channel feature them? Has anyone on your team took their child to that event?
Please do an Olaf’s Royal Picnic video.
I just want to know if the food is worth it for that event, or should I give my child lunch before the event, because all they’d serve is something she won’t eat.
    Thank you.

I think if you look up olaf's royal picnic food here on youtube you will find some videos but there is an article you find looking up on Google by "bright color mom" that goes in dept into the experience and on the bottom she talks about the foods there is no menu if you have a alimentar restriction seems like you must tell disney when doing your reserve. The food is basically some different types of sandwiches and a type of tortilla wrap, scones with berries and the 3 desserts that consists of cakes and cookies. Also the children receive a chocolate cupcake with buttercream that is olaf themed. I recomend looking into the article where she tries to describe the flavors of everything

Very misleading title, as I too clicked on this video thinking you would actually let your viewers know which foods NOT to eat on the Disney Cruise, only to see a video NOT list or mention any of that. Which is infuriating to me.
Also, I’m glad to see that someone else mentioned Señor Frog’s…which is at the 19:32 mark, in a positive light. Unlike your very vague comment about them. Plus this restaurant that isn’t even on the ship! But you criticized them anyway, and you really didn’t say why. And I think you were trying to explain that not all food places off the ship are included with your cruise package, so food there won’t be free. But why not just say that and instead single out Señor Frog’s by name? I had given your video a Like, but changed it to a thumbs down because of how misleading your title to this video was and for singling out just one eatery. 👎
