It's day two of our Disney Magic cruise and we are docked at Disney's private island Castaway Cay. Our goal for the day is to go snorkeling in Castaway Cay’s 22-acre snorkeling lagoon which is filled with hidden Disney artifacts. We’ll grab some drinks at the Conked Out bar and grab lunch at Cookies BBQ. Back on the ship we’ll play trivia, take in one of the most beautiful sunsets while sailing at sea, and we’ll eat dinner in the Tangled themed restaurant Rapunzel's Royal Table - which is filled with great food and an even better show celebrating Rapunzel’s birthday. This video vibe is the opposite to everything you guys are probably dealing with regarding your roof, but hopefully you can escape to another relaxing destination soon enough. I need a beach somewhere lol. And I love Kitra's knit top/dress, especially the colour. It looks fab and so comfy! Hopefully you guys can swim with stingrays someday, I did it in Dominican Republic years ago and it was a really cool experience!

(an experience we were stuck with ourselves last February and most of March when our apartment was discovered to have severe mold and water damage in three of our walls due to a broken water heater in the apartment upstairs…we were stuck in a Sonesta extended stay for 37 days! Ugh!)

I hope you guys are doing well and that your roof issues are being taken care of. After I watched your Disney Wish videos I knew I had to experience it as well. My husband and I sailed on the Wish earlier this year and it was everything we had hoped for. Now, after watching this vlog, I need to explain to my husband why we need to sail on the Magic!!

When you guys stepped onto the island i said out loud "Ahhhh Goo Lagoon" 🤣I'm not a big swimmer but the snorkeling really did look fun. Being there just seems so peaceful. Cookies looked so damn good and since I'm a mac/pasta salad connoisseur that caught my eye. The whole island is just a vibe that as I get older I find myself wanting to be a part of and you guys always just do such a beautiful job at making us feel like we're there and in it!

I was lucky to find the Mickey churro waffles one day on the Disney cruise and let me tell you they were the most delicious thing I’ve ever had! Highly recommend if you can find them! ❤

In terms of the potato soup at Rapunzel's I think they could have meant "Bockwurst" or "Knackwurst" 😊, which is similar to a hot dog but it has a crunch to it, when you bite into it. And "Knack" is "crack", which refers to the "crunchy" casing 😜 I live in Germany 😅.

One of the things I enjoyed watching on your video was the ride on the tram. Since I started going to DL in the 60's, I think of the tram rides fondly. It was the very first and very last ride at the park! And since we always closed the place with my parents, we were so tired that the ride back car was not sad... uh, and we had the fudge from Main Street. Or what was left after the very last train around the park. This is really the first cruise video that really made me think I might enjoy going on a Disney cruise ship.
I feel like I remember the tram rides to the park more than the ones back to the car

10:11 I remember diving down to touch this sunken ship last year and when I did my entire hand started to burn like crazy! Come to find out this is when I first learned about “sea lice.” They are basically microscopic jellyfish that are naked to the eye but when you touch them OMG it burns! The cast members on the island carry vinegar spray to help with the burning sensation (although it didn't help my hand) LOL! Sometimes we just have to learn the hard way. Haha!
Oh that’s scary! Also I learned that you’re not supposed to dive down at all, it’s against the rules. That said I saw so many people doing it, diving down and sitting in the dumbo vehicle for photos. Makes sense why they have rules like that now that I hear your story. That’s real scary
@@OrdinaryAdventures yeah definitely makes sense to me too. Apparently I had to learn the hard way haha! As much as it would be cool to get a picture underwater sitting in a Dumbo ride vehicle, I don’t think I have the lung capacity to make that happen. 😂

Every new cruise is becoming more sustainable. For instance Icon of the Seas will be Royal Caribbean's first ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and fuel cell technology. This is expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 30% and sulfur emissions by nearly 100%.

OMG the time last year I finally went on a Disney cruise, there was a storm on the Castaway Cay day so we had to get out of the ocean and we just started swimming!! My friend and I have to go back for the day we missed of vacation!

Glad you both had a great time. You deserve it! The diving and looking at the objects looked a lot of fun though I'd be scared as even though I love fish/aquariums etc I'm always scared about what's under the sea after being stung by a jellyfish!!! Kitra's subtitles made me laugh! I also love her adorable Flower bucket hat!
I think they have netting to prevent any big fish into that area but yeah there is still a chance of jelly fish.
