My favourite thing about the Wonder was being able to just drop the kids off at Edge(the kids club) and let them roam around without heavy supervision! They loved it too!
@@JourneyWithHeather exactly! With all the activities going on and the soft serve machine, my kids loved the freedom and being able to grab a snack whenever they needed. The instructors according to my kids were so laid-back and fun, providing a great environment!

3:52 I did go to animators pallet back in the day when I went on the Cruise in September 2005. Me and my parents would eat dinner there and back then I did not eat gluten. I would often eat ice cream from there off the kids menu for dessert and one time i got a brownie and vanilla ice cream to share with my parents one night on the cruise from the kids menu at Animator Pallet. I did the Ocean club with my cousin because we were too young for the night clubs at the time. In fact my Cousin was barley old enough to the ocean club herself.Also back in the day the club was much smaller mainly because of the decorations and was pirate themed when I went before the club was remodeled. Where you went to Andys room The slide used to be a barrel slide and the platform was like a pirate ship and there was a net bridge kids would walk on. However I did not do this because I was afraid so I did a mini slide instead of the big slide. Then below the slide there was a small Captain Closet room where I played on the computers. I would play on the computer one night on the I told my parents don't interrupt my fun. I also did dress up in this room too.I also asked a boy to take a toy down the slide with him. I also had good talk with a girl in the club one time while I was on the cruise.There was also a small stage back then for kids to sing songs in the club. Also the bathrooms in the club were smaller and the lights were dimmer especially at night and they had life saver floats as a decoration back than they are now on the cruise after the remodel happened. I also went to Castway Cay too. Me and my cousins were next door to each other on the cruise. I went to the Ocean Lab once one the cruise. one time my cousin accidentally went to the boys room but lucky for me I found the girls one. One time I freaked out when a girl brought her brother into the bathroom and when my cousin when into the boys bathroom because Back then when I was younger I did not really understand that you do not have to be a certain gender to like certain things.Also the Lab was space theme when I went. The boys room in lab back in the day has blue and green for its wall color and the girls room was pink in color i do not remember too much about the ocean lab. I also went swimming at the mickey pool on the cruise and did a splash contest with two girls one night at the pool.I went in the hot tub one night on the cruise with my dad and I turned on the bubbles for two women entering the hot tub.. I also went walking on deck one night with my parents on the cruise and I also saw my cousin eating ice cream on the cruise.
My wife and I went on a 4 day cruise on the Wonder in 2005. We had a great time. The food was wonderful, and the day at Castaway Key I'll never forget. Wow, did I ever get sunburned! I want to go again.
don't tip them with "CASH" because they will automatically add the tip to your charge receipt. If you tip them with cash then you will double tip them. Always add the tip on the signed charge receipt.
Hi, this may be a silly question but I’m taking the Alaskan cruise on the Wonder next summer in the beginning of August. Just wondering if you’ve done it then and if you have what kind of clothing should we be bringing? Is it hot during the days and cold at nights? What are the temperatures? Do we have to have dress up outfits? I’m a guy btw. Never been on a cruise so idk.
It really depends - it could be cold and rainy, it could be sunny and temperate. It's ALWAYS cold at night. Layers are key - long sleeved shirts under sweatshirts under a jacket. This way you can add and remove as necessary. have fun!
Hi, to help you out here are some pointers. Bring one argentine jacket and maybe 2 or 3 lighter fleece jackets. A beanie Gloves A scarf It can get chilly when you're outside taking in all the beautiful views but it definitely isn't uncomfortably cold. Make sure to bring shirts and T-shirts for layers and still bring your costume as the pools are all heated and you may also want to visit The Senses Spa. The Captain will always advise you on what kind of weather to be expecting everyday, so try and always listen to the announcements that are being made. The stores onboard will have exclusive Alasakan merchandise as well if you don't want to over pack but it is probably the best cruise to do with Disney. There is no particular formal night onboard but the main objective is to go and have fun and enjoy your experience, so whatever you're comfortable in wearing on a day to day stick to that. 2 years is too young for the kids club, but there is a nursery for the little ones. It's an additional charge.
About how much is the nursery? Is it hourly? We are traveling with a 1 year old. Is there any pool they can go into with their swim diaper on?
Is the in-app messenger thing included? Carnival has a similar function, but it has a nominal $5 fee per device/person.
