- There is just something magical about living in an antique home in New England, especially in the fall when the autumn leaves are starting to turn color and the air is getting crisp. In this week's vlog, I will be starting and creating a few more DIY fall projects to decorate Sugarwood, our antique home in New England. I will also be sharing a sneak peek of some dump digging my daughter and I did instead of working like we had plans to do.

I love your bowl of apples. When I think of fall, I think of apple season. You're the only person, on the channels that I watch, that incorporates apples into their fall decor. Of course I love pumpkins and mums too. You've done a very stylish job with everything.

Another lovely Sunday video - such a treat! I believe the bright, light green hydrangeas are known as "Limelight" variety. They pick up the pale green in your apples. Love your dump bottle finds, too! As a horsewoman, the tack room candle sounds lovely. New leather is always a favorite scent for me and such a strong sense memory since early childhood. I'm so glad autumn is here it's my favorite season of the year and such a special time of year here in the Northeast.

Such a cozy video! You really know how to make a house feel like a very welcoming home. Glad you didn't touch that caterpillar. It's an American Dagger whose spikes can cause painful and severe skin irritation.

When my sister moved to the south, she was really missing fall here in PA. I collected leaves, dipped each one in wax and sent her a boxful. She was thrilled! I started my fall decorating today. The temperature has finally cooled, the days are getting shorter and I'm loving it! Happy Fall, Linda!
Also, too, I find it so much more pleasurable to pick things from around your neighborhood or your own yard… I find my best arrangements are just that!

I love Spring and the sounds of the birds and seeing the Spring flowers. I like Summer because the days are longer and especially if we have warm weather which can be very hit and miss in England 😊 Saying that I love to see the Autumn colours especially in and around New England they are amazing and how you decorate your home is beautiful. She loves to play ferocious. It's hysterical. If we hold her ball in front of her she will snarl and show her teeth then take it somewhat gently from us.

Lovely. Fall is my favorite time of year for all the reasons you mentioned. Here in the Great Lakes we are busy picking the end of the summer garden, decorating with pumpkins and Fall flowering plants....and yes those cinnamon donuts. Loved the music. We are loving our Fall walks here in the country and thinking of wonderful Fall items to bake.

It is such a magical time of year, and you live in a place in some ways frozen in time with your 1790's home!! It is so gorgeous, and you have given it a rebirth. So beautifully done Linda!! I absolutely loved this video. For me too, it is my favorite time of year!! I started decorating the entrance to our small neighborhood, with corn stalks and pumpkins and gourds and will decorate the outside of our home this week

Loved the video with my cup of tea. Always like seeing the changes in the garden and it's good to bringing the Autumn in with the leaves. We had a lovely trip around new England 14 years ago while l as pregnant with my son. My parents lived for a while in Amherst - l loved going to Deerfield in Autumn to the Yankee Candle factory.
Linda, I think the leaf swag you are making is an excellent idea for above your new kitchen window. I would also use through Christmas too by adding Christmas bows, etc. Liked the black chairs on the porch since they seem to fit right in. Good video! Thank you ~
I sure would love to be digging and rescuing relics with you in your backyard dumps. I had an opportunity to do that years ago on one of our farmsteads. Such a treasure hunt!
I've been doing it since I was a child an love it. We started at 11:30 and at 3:30 we stopped and it felt like a half hour.
