Had a chance to try it over the weekend and you're pretty spot on. It's a good drinker, but I can't justify the price. I would rather go with Bardstown Origin BiB for about half the price

You may still like it. I liked it but I was hoping for it to rock my world. 60/100 is slightly better than average.
Great review. The Screaming Titan is unique for sure. I definitely get hits of Archway lemon cookie on the pallet. At $80ish for a 5 year craft bourbon, I don’t know that I’d get another.

I hope that you have been doing well man, I've missed your videos. I plan on watching back through the videos over the next few days now that I have moved and have a few days of free time.
I feel like this bottle could have done better with a little more age. From my experience, wheated bourbon needs a little more time to reach their peak compared to standard bourbons. Honestly, I feel like wheated bourbons start becoming great around 6-8 years old depending on distillery.
I’m hoping this one really opens up. Traditionally redwood has been great out of the bottle. Maybe it’s just the blenders palate? Glad to see your name pop up IPad! Cheers and happy memorial weekend.
Again Ross Squibb has a distillery in Kentucky so it’s their juice. Have heard good things about this batch. Not that I’ll be getting any of them. Even the bib don’t come around my area. I’m looking into ordering direct from Redwood they do ship to my state. I’m sure it’s very good but it depends on one’s palate as with everything whiskey related. Enjoy!!

I think price tag hurt it, for $100 i expect a lot. This one just fell short especially because cask strength is get at $80
Yeah I would prefer the pipe dream cask strength but I think this was their first wheater unless I missed something.
I picked up the single malt which I thought was solid but not one I’d buy again.
That was the only one I haven’t picked up of the three.
Felt the same. A bit underwhelming . Now if the proof would be higher it would be better. Maybe it opens up in a few weeks 🥃🤷🏻♂️

I typically really enjoy Redwood Empire products especially the Emerald Giant. This one sounds like a pass for me especially at that price. Great review. Cheers

A little pricey for my $50 price point. It’s craft I get it but also sourced. I was hoping it would have been closer to $60
Totally get that. I think they priced it the same as the other two as it was a three release.
