@@cadinvent I doubt it. The launch gantries do not need such a bases to be relaunched as they are long. But the scaffoldings need a flat base for it to be stable.
What i don't understand is that they have the joined some beams pieces by pieces at then used the racks the hold them during the process. why can't they built the beans below and lift them up. This rack is intruding into the road and causing congestion on the road below. 😅😅
Because if they build them from the bottom & lift them up at once, on the day of the lifting, the roads below have to close for the entire period of the lifting. This was what was done at the Tebrau Highway. The whole section of the Highway between Jln Tun Abdul Razak & Jln Lingkaran Dalam was closed on 8th Aug - 10th Aug while the lifting was done. But you can't do that at the Causeway, which has lots of vehicles either way for almost 24hrs a day.
The JB CIQ itself is in the way. That alone is enough to justify. It's not about deciding on a curve, but about skirting around the CIQ, as well as R&F.
Because langkawi to peninsular distance is much longer (25km). Penang to peninsular is 10km and JB to singapore is just 2km. Furthermore, i think the population in langkawi is too to justify the cost.
That's an unfair comparison. You might as well compare RTS to ECRL phase 1. RTS is such a short distance with just 2 stations, ICQs & a depot. The Gemas JB EDTP is a 197km project on an already operational line, with 11 stations & a depot. The most you can compare to with RTS is the Shah Alam Line. But even that is way longer than RTS, & also more stations.

don't understand why saw many of these building of RTS Malaysia & Singapore videos, all of the videos shown 90% Malaysia portion, so less about 10% Singapore portion, why uh?
Because 1) Depot in Malaysia, so that's one thing Singapore side don't have 2) Woodlands North station is underground, so in terms of station progress, even if there is, it is no longer visible above-ground. The buildings being constructed atop is the CIQ, which also acts as the entry & exit points for the RTS station, as well as retail. 3) Singapore's side of the marine viaduct can be seen from Malaysia's end 4) Singapore's land viaduct has been completed, only left the trackworks, so no point filming at this time.

Testing it is a other challenge altogether.
Why is there no bridge from Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis to Langkawi to make it easier for vehicles from peninsular Malaysia
I think bridge from Kuala Perlis to Langkawi is more suitable and less-risk option to build.
Bcs its too far, the distance between kuala kedah to kuah (langkawi) is 60km meanwhile the distance between kuala perlis to kuah is 40 km
Because langkawi to peninsular distance is much longer (25km). Penang to peninsular is 10km and JB to singapore is just 2km. Furthermore, i think the population in langkawi is too to justify the cost.
No money to do
if got money, reclaim land to fill the gap between Langkawi and mainland Malaysia. then no need bridges.
Need to do some testing is super important too due to it weight management..
