"You miscalculated. I love Zuko more than I fear you"
God, the writing>>>
“No you miscalculated! You should’ve feared me more!”
my first girlfriend turned into the moon 🗣️
That's rough buddy 🫠
@@mybraidingjourneyYou beat me to it😂😂
Nobody will mention it but Bryce was kinda cooking with that boiling rock being a good Toph Zuko duo name
right?
i swear😂
I love how Zoff regularly says things that are off the wall, and the one time Sokka does, he's all over him WHAT DID THAT EVEN MEAN?!
that made me laugh too 😂😂
😂😂😂
Zuko stays warm using the firebending technique called the "breath of fire", one Iroh developed from studying air bending.
Funny that this tech was adapted in the shyamalan version in the weirdest way possible
@@henrikbartnes8424 they called it his chi.
Mai only joined because she was bored. Zuko solved that boredom and she no longer needed Azula
Ty Lee and Mai were basically slaves that Azula confused as friends. Ty Lee had to join or Azula was going to keep upping the ante at the circus until she was killed or maimed. Mai is smarter and realized it's best to act like Azula's friend since she knows what Azula does to her enemies or anyone that defies her. Azula did miscalculate. She allowed two lovers to get back together and somehow thought Mai wouldn't fight and die for Zuko. Zuko is the only person she could show any real emotion with.
THATS ROUGH BUDDY
In the beach episode it shows that Mai is someone who learned to sit down and shut up because expressing anything further led to rejection (or in Azula's case....death? imprisonment?) - so I think choosing to act for Zuko's sake and declare her love for him was a quiet step forward for her own character development.
For most firebenders, a day in the cooler takes your firebending away for a week.
Zuko was actually there when Yue became the moon.
That's why he says, "That's rough, buddy."
the writing in this show soo good. you can just tell they actually cared about the material they were creating.
these two episodes have so many Iconic quotes 😫 🔥
"I _love_ Zuko more than I _fear_ you." cold ass line from Mai, I think about it all the time
Also just highlights how Azula's relationships are just based on fear, nothing else
Notice how Zuko wasn't shivering in the slightest in the Cooler? He was using a mastered version of the "Breath of Fire" technique that Iroh lectured him about back at the North Pole, to keep himself warm.
the way mai and azula appeared in this episode was so sickk
it gets really hard to remember that this whole time ty lee was a glorified hostage, she was only working with azula because she feared her. ty lee saved mai because thats where her real loyalty is
6:20 we're nearing the end of book 3 and zuff is STILL at it with the sokka slander? oh hell naw😤
Wait until the finally he will come around
I really assumed it would change tbh
Hakoda is talking about the Capital City Prison, where Iroh was held
"The Boiling Rock" is infamous to Fire Nation citizens. It's kind of like Alcatraz.
This episode was written by May Chan.
It was the first episode she wrote for the series.
Omg and she slayed! I didn’t know that.
Suki now joined the gaang. The teams now complete. 🎉
16:00 woah another accurate zuff prediction
I think Mai and Ty lee going against Azula made her snap. In her eyes her mother preferred Zuko, Mai and by extension Ty Lee chose him as well. I always forget because Azula is so fierce and intelligent, that she is a young teen. Growing up in abuse and eventually emulating her fathers behavior. She didn’t have an uncle Iroh and having a singular role model who is a psychopath doesn’t help. Also… Mai has always been a baddie 🖤
Chit Sang claims he was wrongly accused of the crime that put him behind bars, and he maintains his innocence to this very day.
Azula be having them DMC style points when she fights
Rob was genuinely offended for sokka when Za was talking smack about sokka and rightfully so! Ahahah
This episode is about Sokka making amends for his failure during the invasion.
The last few episodes have been really great and now that zuko is with them it’s just perfect 😊😊
I didn’t even notice the guard had attacked Zuko from behind and how fast he responded with the flip until just now. 18:10
"The Boiling Rock" is located inside an active volcano, with the crater surrounded by boiling water, which is naturally heated by underground volcanic steam vents.
Suki carried
Mai and Ty Lee hit the game winner though
Yh Ty lee and Mei we’re friends with azula when young , but when they re meet mei was very bored and going with azula meant more of an adventure as well at the time she was loyal to her nation , Ty lee on the other hand was basically bullied in to joining but through the time we can see that tylee is a good person she’s just pressured into doing this mission in the name of her friends as she does try to see the hood in azula and wants to believe it , while Mei isn’t as scared of azula but when she’s with zuko she clearly loves him and Mei and tylee seem better friends as when they met tylee was excited to see her and they get on better so the switch up was a long time coming
“That’s rough buddy” is one of my favorite lines in the entire show.
“Boy, you’re so paranoid” was a shortening for like “Oh boy! You’re SO paranoid!” Kinda like “Boy, oh boy…” people used to say that in place of “Wow” like “Wow, you’re so paranoid.”
Fun fact: Chit Sang is named after writer May Chan's father.
You guys being in shock along with the Warden at Azula’s arrival 😂
"meat of fatherhood and friendship"always gets me 😂😂😂
Please watch The Legend of Korra when you finish ATLA
LMAO bryce would rat?? to the fire nation war prison??? 💀 damn ice cold
I never thought about how taking Mai might have made the warden fold
Who else thinks Zuff always predicting things a little too close every episode? 🤨 he either watching the episodes before so he can be the “smart” one to guess everything “right” or he’s reading spoilers online. I get one or two episodes but all of them lol
“Oh my Ironman!??!?” 😂😂
Biggest insult you can ever say to Azula is "she miscalculated"
The warden used to be the Head Guard at the prison in the Capital City.
The meat of friendship 🥓🥩🍽 And fatherhood 🍗🍔🍖🌮👩🍳😋😋😫
"my first girlfriend turned into the moon"
"that's rough, buddy" zuko says, as if he wasn't there at the time 💀
Just in case today they show how firebenders got to the airtemples. Because the comet makes firebending very strong so they use their fire to fly like Azula
Guy in white hoodie has definitely watched this show before
12:58 YO zuff you good bro? 😂😂😂
I'm sad already that this avatar series with you guys will be over soon 😢
these are actually my two MOST rewatched episodes~~ i just LOVE SOKKA AND SUKI
In sync head shake at 10:47 😎
Even tho Azula is evil as all get out one thing that has always been so interesting is that she technically is stronger than Zuko, always has been. But up until this season Zuko getting intact with his emotional side allowed him to tap into a greater power. Azula is perfectly skilled while Zuko is perfectly flawed which not only allows for great contrast in sibling rivalry but allows the audience to see growth of power in Zuko each season until the finale.
these next few episodes are amazing, i genuinely cant wait until you guys get to TLOK as well!
If anyone can take Azula it’s definitely Katara she already proved she can twice and I mean by herself
Yeah actually I noticed that too bcs even toph and aang struggle fighting azula..... Maybe bcs katara knows how azula fights....... Katara never underestimate her opponent while azula does that's why katara always has the upper hand
Azula actuallt mentioned during the Day of the Black Sun episode to Sokka about being prisoner as she was waisting their time
Can’t wait until the next episode!
DaddiEEeeh - Zuff wtf was that? 🥹
Day 129 requesting Penny Dreadful :)
That’s rough buddy - and an icon was born
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THISS!!!! STOKEDDD!!!!
Please react to Dead Boy Detectives!!!!
it's almost over :(
Waiting on you guys to drop the new Abbott episode 😅
does anyone know if they’re planning to do LoK? (plsplspls)
can you react to kdrama QUEEN OF TEARS , IT S REALLY SO GOOD
I can’t wait till you begin season 2, for me personally, season 1 of Xena was boring. I always skip to season 2 when I start a Xena binge phase.
It really *does* beg the question on how Sokka and Zuko were casually able to infiltrate what is essentially the Alcatraz Island of the Avatar-verse. I mean Zuko literally called the place inescapable, but apparently it's not impregnable? The writers really thought no one would think about it, huh? How were they not seen? How'd they manage to find guard uniforms so easily? How!?
the writting in this two-parter is so off, everthing from the majority of the jokes to way they ignore the explanation of how sokka and zuko even got inside the prison in the first place
