Fishing on an Alaskan Cruise! (Juneau DIY Fishing)

Hopped off the cruise ship in Juneau and decided to set out and try and catch some fish on my own. We hit a few spots and we’re eventually able to get into a really good Dolly Varden bite. If you plan on doing a cruise check these spots out.

this is so cool. i went on a Alaska Royal Princess cruise last year in May, i was kickin myself thinkin i shoulda brought a rod to do exactly what you did. Glad I could experience what i missed through your video.

Did you need to purchase a fishing license to fish in Alaska?

Yes but it wasn’t that pricey

I will never understand catch and release. Don't fish if you don't intend to feed you or your family. It causes stress and injury to the fish otherwise.
