- Hopped off the cruise ship in Juneau and decided to set out and try and catch some fish on my own. We hit a few spots and we’re eventually able to get into a really good Dolly Varden bite. If you plan on doing a cruise check these spots out.

this is so cool. i went on a Alaska Royal Princess cruise last year in May, i was kickin myself thinkin i shoulda brought a rod to do exactly what you did. Glad I could experience what i missed through your video.

Did you need to purchase a fishing license to fish in Alaska?
Yes but it wasn’t that pricey
I will never understand catch and release. Don't fish if you don't intend to feed you or your family. It causes stress and injury to the fish otherwise.
