So many people hate on Malone. He does rhings that make you frustrated but you gotta understand, its not just him amd hes empowered others including players to modify plays or things. Hes won more games in the west the past 4-5 years. Representing the allstar gsme as a coach twice. He puts guys like Adelman(who will be gone soon to coach his own team hes so good) in a position to succeed and will be the main reason Adelman gets to coach his own team. He did great stepping in for malone this year! 👏 Malone often has to make decisions that are not to appease the crowd. Its to win games. So he doesnt play X for a reason. This year, they includong new gm Calvin Booth put together THE perfect roster! Im blown away at one years diffence. Nod to Tim Connelly for settong the foundation but yea in one year Booth made moves and drafted the RIGHT guys. How lucky are we? Time to go prove it. T
Yeah sometimes he has downsides with rotations and it didn’t always seem like he knew how to run the offence when jokic was pff the floor, but this year especially he seems to have fixed up some of his problems (especially running the bench super defensively which I think was always the plan he just never had the players) and even with his flaws his overall driving of a culture and developing the players has definitely led the nuggets to where they are today
That’s an interesting idea. I could see him loving to coach a team with his “play the right way” style. He could also go back to Serbia to run his horse farm and you’ll never see him again.
