I have seen this exact videos so many times, idk why it was so hard for me to get this going. Your video finally got it to click, really appreciate the content my good samaritan.
Okay, I've watched about four tutorials on how to do this so far, and they all play basically the same, but when I get to the point of rotating the empty, my single step does not turn into a circle. Nothing happens at all, no matter how many times I start over. Is there some vital step that's being skipped over?
can you time stamp the part of my video where you get stuck its easier for me to help this way and provide alternatives as i made this video a while back
@@FunwithBlender I think he means at 1:17 . I also had trouble at this point however from the way he describes it, its a slightly different problem. For me, rather than not do anything, the faces get smaller and smaller rather than keeping the same size.
I understand you posted this comment a year ago. But I think your problem is where your origin is at. If you set your origin to a fixed spot and make the circle and empty around that you should be able to get it to rotate appropriately around the origin rather than the "Steps" getting bigger or smaller and farther away. Frustated me alot but I figured it out pretty quick with understanding that it's based of the origin of the objects which you can set with a right click in object mode on any object.
You need to make sure you changed from object mode to edit mode by pressing tab, then you have all the points of the circle selected, then you can press e to extrude
its best to time stmap where you stuck and take it step by step...also follow the tutorial exactly ...before trying to apply it to your own project... if you time stmap where you cna no longer follow i am happy to help
Sweet, very helpful!

@@LeandraF109 make sure to CTRL-A and apply all transforms on the circle after you deleted all but 1 face
make sure constant offset is all 0 in the X AND Y AND Z

Forget about "Bridge edge loop"?
That more powerfull and simple way to bridge the edge's..
Isn't?

When I extrude, the circle is still invisible

@@FunwithBlender Also, be sure you are in vertex mode, face mode doesn't work, which makes sense since there aren't any faces yet.
It doesn't fucking work for me
