I like the OJ & Vinegar idea. Btw... That's a NY Mixto Sandwich, a Cuban is Tampa Bay area invention. 1/2 Italian Panini & 1/2 Cuban Pork & Ham Sandwich, with Salami. Both are100% American. & Tasty/Crunchy.
@offthegrillwithjeff The Tampa (Ybor City) Cuban Sandwich was invented around 1906 ish. I don't know if it's fame made it back to Cuba & it became popular there too. The "Midnight Mixto" is a popular late night Nightclub Snack usually a Hoagie 6"/7" size for two. The lunch/dinner Mixto is larger & a meal in itself.
This is a really good sandwich. Its a great way to use left over meats!
