Kind of close but not enough gain and volume. Too tight. If you listen to the original Hurricane tone it has more gain, and is spongier. Not so tight and is pushing the limits.

Have Anyone test it with the stomp. My stomp is still on the way to me.....
Imma have to disagree with on the eastwood gp comment. I have friend that has the guitar with a bass amp and sounds exactly like kyuss
I´m sad .... You can not say, where i can buy the needed IR Files ? ... Or where to geht, when it is free ? Thx.

As for the IR itself: ua-cam.com/video/u6jtaux3Ey/v-deo.html
Greco “Ace Frehley” LP copy 2500$ now lol. Killer score for 500. Josh’s ovation GP now 4000$ . Inflation is a bitch
Yeah, I sold it a while ago. I think about current prices and weep sometimes.
@@obsessedwithguitars3157 I feel you’re pain !
The LT is @home. The Preset ist loaded ... and ...not bad ... but i could be better, your video sounds better. I think that has to do with the 3 Impulse Response nodes, that didn´t come with the preset.
Can you give me the dowload Links to the RI Files ? it would be Path 1A Node 3 and 6, Path 2A Node 2.
This Impluse Response are not in the Libary at starting point.
Thx, Danke, Danke, Thx, Muchas gratias ....
When the IR is not free, where to buy ? And What IR you use on IR Nodes ?
can you share the presets?
Hey mate any chance of getting this patch for the helix?
Man, I REALLY have to do that. I've been meaning to, but my business picked up a lot and free time isn't what it used to be. I'll do it as soon as I'm able!
@@obsessedwithguitars3157 I hope I'm the first to know! Thanks a lot
@@joshmicallef8148 Took me a while, but here you go! line6.com/customtone/tone/4959605/
jaja..that last song. nice video.
Fingerboard shouldn't effect any actual tone...
Also the Eastwood pickup on their GP is based off of the Super2....sooo...
apart from playing most of the songs wrong, the tone isnt bad
Please can you share Helix patches? Customtone?
Took me a while, but here you are! line6.com/customtone/tone/4959605/
Obsessed With Guitars you the man!
Obsessed With Guitars what would you recommend if i didn’t have the IR’s that you use?
@@jakeyboy2929 Perhaps tweak the JCM800 model that's already in the Helix? Better than nothing!
awsome , in my opiinion theres lot of ways to get kyuss sound its not that hard even with regular equipment, when i play it i use big muff and even today playing with diferent settings and eq on line 6 , mostly get close to his sound , rock on :P
He used little to none of the treble frequencies that all other metal guitarists used back in the day and pushed the mids way up, instead of sucking them out like everyone else.
Thumb, el Rodeo awesome
Pretty close
One inch Man, give me more
Oh, he's so lonely, lonely, lonely!
should have added: his balls
That el rodeo isn’t right.
Dude you got the sound but you seriously need to learn the actual rhythm of those kyuss songs you were playing
Oh no he diiii int
the timbre was good, a pity to play the songs incorrectly.
He played through a bass rig. Diden't everyone knew that?
Playing starts at @11:48 Broooooo
Kind of close but not enough gain and volume. Too tight. If you listen to the original Hurricane tone it has more gain, and is spongier. Not so tight and is pushing the limits.
Bla Bla Bla... Play!
Thicker strings...
Why would you want to? ... find your own sound folks.
Why not?
@@heytn Because you're completely lacking any creativity and originality? Ok ...
@@thevelointhevale1132 People may want to "sound like Josh in Kyuss" and? Is that for you a personnal attack if they want to? At least people can get inspired by this video to find their own sound.
Have you never been inspired?
Step 1:plug line 6 in
What’s that weird kissing sound you make when you start a sentence it’s hard to listen to
STOP TALKING!!!
hey dude! love this vid - could i get a link to those IR’s?
Oh, I'd love to, but I don't have that Line 6 Helix anymore! If I find them, I'll link them!
