Vance approached Peter after a speech Peter gave at Yale when Vance was in Law School. Peter and Vance share cultural values, not money, and he was mentored by Peter. Marc Andreessen, a billionaire Democrat, also invested in Vance. Why? Rachel didn't mention that.
Rachel also didn't mention Al Gore had the same combat correspondence job in Vietnam as Vance had in Iraq, where he was only a corporal.

Mr. Trump, using an expletive, bluntly told Mr. Vance: You said some nasty stuff about me.
Mr. Vance decided to immediately apologize.
