James is one of the most interesting and diplomatic story tellers, always wise to not pass judgement when fed leading questions concerning the personal issues of others.
Incredible interview and insight into the past I was in London in 69 training to be a chef it was a wild time we sang in a few little blues band then. London was amazing then Afghan coats cheese cloth shirts Dutch clogs Denim jeans sunglasses even in the rain Earls court What a time it was every thing was cool ha ha
Absolutely incredible story! If James had written the dream scenario of how to get discovered, it wouldn’t be this good. First time I heard such detail about it. All the stars lined up for you, James. And then to meet Carly. Lucky man.
Yeah in the guitar center interview on youtube he said got to hear the rough tracks at night when he was in studio but didn't mention much about it in that one either.
".....I can't believe that I actually sat down and played that for them...."..............James, in my record collection, you are way better and advanced than any beatle, by far.......I have all James Taylor, I have ZERO Beatles, and my life has been quite grand......they should be the ones in awe
Howard thinks he knows a lot about the Beatles, and yet he didn’t know Jane Asher had been McCartney’s girlfriend? And it’s kind of funny that they both misidentified a Beatles song. “I feel fine” was indeed from the song “I Feel Fine” not “She’s a Woman,” as James said. And Howard was all too eager to agree.

James Taylor is a genuine artist, vulnerable and tender and a huge heart!
So him in Denmark 4 years ago..fantastic gig!
Nice of Howard, as usual, to let James listen to him tell him about his life.
BWAHA!!
Marc White yeah Howard should let the man talk
He def does that. He tells them how they felt in situations 50 years ago. Hilarious
No Shit, shut the F up , and let JAMES tell the story !
Howard has gotten a little better at shutting up and listening. these days.

Robbie Dunn
Count yourself a lucky man!

The song was called i feel fine. Shes a woman was the b side
thank you. just what I was thinking. cheers.
Wow. To be in the right place!
Why don't you just interview yourself, Howard?
Aghhh, he says he was there while they were recording The White Album -- then says almost nothing about it.
Yeah in the guitar center interview on youtube he said got to hear the rough tracks at night when he was in studio but didn't mention much about it in that one either.
He talked about it with Colbert.
fascinating!

As usual Fartman doesn’t let his Guest talk.🤔
The beatles only recorded 4 songs at Trident during the white album. So Taylor had plenty of time to record his album
JT a legend
JT's album suffered the same fate as many Apple acts. No promotion, very little or no airplay. The only acts with hits were Mary Hopkin & Badfinger.
geez, this Stern guy wants to let James tell his bloody story!
super !! : )
Mister Stern is scatterbrained.
I agree
he was 20 in 1968 he was born in 1948
I wish James would talk more about beautiful Carly, they made a nice couple, to bad it did'ent last!
he doesn't talk to Carly. not for a long time.
She’s a woman was the B side to I feel fine
Howard thinks he knows a lot about the Beatles, and yet he didn’t know Jane Asher had been McCartney’s girlfriend?

I think he knows it’s I feel fine but pointless to argue with a legendary guest
this Stearn talks too much, only half knows stories.. competes with the guest....he really needs to shut up.
Howard You are not that interesting. Let JT, a true talent, talk!
howard, when he does talk, is so boring...
song was called i feel fine. Shes a woman was the b side
