When you cook a pie in a air fryer Greg it tends to make the pastry extra dry and crisp like a jatz biscuits oven only cook

I've had these before, they ARE ok, for a flavoured pie! The regular beef pies are quite nice. (BETTER than a 4'n'20 I'll give you that much!)

I think that depends on the country. Anglo-Saxon countries seem to suffer from salt phobia so product sold there tends to be a bit low on sodium. I can attest that this is not the case of Aldi and Lidl in Germany or Eastern Europe. lol
Not a huge fan of Thai Curries but I would give those pies ago they seem pretty good value.

All the fozen pies now seem to have the same rock hard pastry. As you know if you nuke a pie it will be soggy.well my Scott's last night defide that theory.

Microwave first then airfry, not as long as GregO though - 3-4 mins
I put in microwave for 5 minutes then air fryer for 10 tastes just as good and faster

You overcooked that big time! Read the instructions, it said 160° fan force. Which is definitely what an air fryer is. Next wrap the pie in foil and cook for 15m in the air fryer then unwrap and cook for a further 2m. Or microwave for 2 1/2m then air fry for 2m. That way the pastry will be perfect

Funny I worked on the GC for 18 months and the guy I worked with would only buy Thai chicken pies from the bakery funny you haven't come across them. Me I prefer a chunky steak and kidney pie but so hard to find these days
