I love the guard and you definitely got most of the honorable mention things but it's kind of amusing that this episode wound up being super tangents back to back and much less about the actual topic lol. Like it's mostly arguably modern military so there really isn't that much to get into but for some reason I expected more. I didn't know about guardsman "pamphlet" that's hilarious but otherwise I actually knew everything in this one and was hoping I'd learn something xD. I guess I've done a better job researching wh40k than I realized
A Classic example is the Chimera. It has better stats than the Rhino in every way, it even has more carrying capacity. Get the Autocannon-armed variant and it's better than the Predator. A Hydra is a Chimera with TWO TWIN-LINKED Autocannons on it. That's 4x the firepower of a Predator on a vehicle faster, better armored and Amphibious. The Vindicator? Garbage. The Thunderer Siege Tank has the same weapon on a Leman Russ chassis, so it's *way* tankier. The Guard barely uses it since the Leman Russ Demolisher already has the gun plus supporting fire. A second-tier vehicle for the Guard is better than the Astartes' main support vehicle. The Land Raider? Cool. The Macharius has rivaling power and armor, yet is cheaper. The Baneblade completely outranks the Land Raider. Fun fact: The Leman Russ, Chimera and Trojan chassis use an STC-origin engine design that can run on literally *anything* flammable, yet is somehow simple enough to maintain it doesn't even take a Tech-Priest. 90% of the Guard's vehicles are easy to maintain, quick and cheap to produce, yet put out more value than Astartes gear and can run on anything from wood to coal to bodies. Considering the amount of firepower the Guard's vehicles wield compared to their production cost, pound-for-pound, the Guard has the best vehicles in the setting.
I liked the meme of "You've been shot? Congratulations, you saved the man behind you." "Stepped on a landmine? Congratulations, you've successfully disarmed that landmine, allowing the line to be pushed half a meter further." "Both of those killed you? Congratulations on your promotion to the sandbag division."

Favourite Guard quote is from a Commissar who was (briefly) attached to the Death Corps of Krieg. I'm paraphrasing but: "I heard that fragging whistle blow again and again, and again and again and again! No words, no prayers, no battle-cries. I've killed things that would make a lesser man cry out for his mother like a snivelling brat; but never again do I wish to see that... No, not ever." Yes, I will find the book.
I'm from Central Florida. Love watching your videos. They keep me entertained while I work. If I had more expendable money I'd totally sign up for your Patreon.
Krieg Korps are arguably on par with Orks on which faction is enjoying themselves the most. Orks will always have a grand time as long as there's enough krumpin' going on, even amongst themselves. The Korps know nothing else except the worst, most extreme of circumstances. They were born into a world of choking, toxic air & the random chance of a cave collapse, killing thousands at a time. Every morning when they wake, it is the best day of their lives so far, simply because they were still there to wake up. Every second they live is a blessing, to them quite literally. Which is why they have so little qualms about walking into zones no one else would consider plausible let alone possible. Yet, they do & they keep doing it. They live purely to die in any other manner than coughing up their kidneys from living in a world that Tyrands have classed as "Spoiled"
I began watching these videos a few weeks ago and it’s quickly become something I look forward to every week. As someone with very little free time; your humour, discussions and friendship are so comforting. You’ll be big I know it 🤘 love from England 🏴

Guardsman are very interesting and fun, i have enjoyed all of your videos and can't wait for more, for some one who is just learning about 40k lore this awesome thank you guys.
holy hell im old, the myspace talk, took me back. love the content
The guardsman fixing his bayonet and charging horus is now 100% cannon and I love it.
"Gunner, see that mountain?"
"Yes Sir."
"I don't want to."
"Yes Sir."
I saw three shorts of yours before this popped up in my recommended feed…already set bells and notifications because I’ve found a way to filter and digest the PLETHORA of 40k lore. Keep up the great work!
21:25 I really hope that's a nod to the ork "Space Morons." That was one of the funniest things I found about orks.
21:25 Grot Guard. There's a man out there that made an army of ork grots that play like Astra Militarum.
I love these warhammer videos and I just start loving warhammer 40k more and more.
I am watching from Ireland 🇮🇪. Love the channel love the channel. Would love an in-depth view on the Tanith first and only and the broader Sabbath worlds crusade
Thank you for doing such amazing videos. I want to get my dad back into this hobby as a way for me and him to bond, but as someone with diagnose depression, reading the books myself would probably be a bad idea for my mental health.
I love your content
Thank you
I adore your content ! Keep it up you two
Y’all are so awesome thanks to your video I’ve started making my first army (space marines ofc)
Just rewatched all your videos! I really love the content! You guys deserve all the attention of the big time players, keep up the great videos
I do like the qoute " the planet fell before the guard did"
There is something poetic about a normal man, just standing up against hell itself
I laughed so hard it hurt at the "go out & get you some" comment.
My Lord man.
Damn
I'm lucky a friend of mine got me the Imperial Infanteymans uplifting primer Damocles Gulf edition for Christmas years ago. And boy, howdy am I glad. I just saw the price on those things!
So, I'm us airforce currently stationed in south Korea and I'm currently watch for the lore explanations because I'm a writer and the sheer scope of world building and history in the Warhammer universe is both impressive and incredibly daunting if you don't know where to start.
Lmao unnecessary
fuck yeah been looking forward to this all week
I got into 40k through the All Guardsmen Party, so I'm fuckin here for this episode.
just finished last week's episode. dope
I’m from Australia and I watch an episode a day i did lose your account for a few months so I’m watching everything again
I'm from Michigan! We will hold the water for you guys. :)
Loving the content; I’ve always been fascinated by the 40k lore; and never had like an idea of where to start and what to learn about to be kinda “caught up” cause I will not read books🤣🫠 but I started this playlist on the recommendation of a friend and boy am I hooked; and going to watch every episode. You guys do it so well; lax.. informative.. and fun. Can’t wait to be caught up👏🏽👏🏽
Watching you from Serbia 🇷🇸 . Thanks for keeping me sane and entertained during night shifts !
I like how towards the end the conversation went from the imperial guard to Company implanted e-girls. I was listening to this while playing blood and teef and was hit with sudden whiplash lol
7:38 RIP the 3 billion people from 8 months ago, we’ve fallen from 11 billion to 8 billion ☠️
Favourite Guard quote is from a Commissar who was (briefly) attached to the Death Corps of Krieg. I'm paraphrasing but:
"I heard that fragging whistle blow again and again, and again and again and again! No words, no prayers, no battle-cries. I've killed things that would make a lesser man cry out for his mother like a snivelling brat; but never again do I wish to see that... No, not ever."
Yes, I will find the book.
I'm from Central Florida. Love watching your videos. They keep me entertained while I work.
If I had more expendable money I'd totally sign up for your Patreon.
The jungle fighters love red bandanas so much that the kroot wear red bandanas after eating catachans
