Guide is from a much older game version, but it still works.
I think due to the time released it can be that you can
remove DLCS:
Arms against Tyranny (10 October 2023 )
Trial of Allegiance (7 March 2024)
Then the international market will be removed and the japanese might send you guns like in the video
@@hansbartelmess4600 now you need 40% of mundial tension for the japanese can send you guns but i think the guide still works.

I formed Qing in non-historical when Japan goes Communist (it's usually their first focus they do, so it's easy to restart), because it results in Manchukuo getting many bonuses:
-Before Japan's civil war starts, Manchukuo gets all their "Samurai-Faction" generals and field marshalls.
-When the civil war starts, Manchukuo will be independent, gets Mengukuo as integrated puppet, and the 70 day focus for the war with Japan can be skipped.
-When Japan loses the civil war, Manchukuo can choose to overtake all of the territory hold by Japan except the main island.
-Manchukuo will also get control over fascist Japans forces and a part of the navy that survived the civil war, usually between 25 to 35 units.
-Manchukuo will also get the national trait "Royal Family in Exile" (10% Army Morale, 10% Stability + 5% War Support ) after the communists banish Hirohito from Japan to Manchukuo.
-It's easy to crush China with all these forces after rushing down to the focus which offers vasallization to the warlords. It's best to do the focus after China already puppeted them, because they will become Manchukuo's Puppet instead, if they agree.
-Communist China can be ignored until Communist Japan joins a faction with them and both of them are at war with Manchukuo: Capitulating Communist China is enough to also annex/puppet Japan and get the other half of the Japanese navy in the peace deal (maybe because Japan seems not to be a Major faction anymore, because Communist China will be the faction leader or because they don't have any land on the mainland anymore or something like that - I haven't found the reason yet). This means: No invasion of Japanese mainisland necessary to get them as a puppet.
With this strategy I owned all of China (except Macao and Hong Kong, etc.) in around Summer/Fall 1938. I am currently trying to do a world conquest run (making everyone fascist, building a rail from Gibraltar to Singapore, [...]) with that strategy, because throwing 40 Million manpower with "only volunteers" on the enemy is fun :D

I tried that but the chance for Japan to go communist is very low

I feel like people in the guide are always luckier than me.. I've had a run where Japan pushed south of Nanjing early 1939 when I was ready to stab them in the back, and the united front was no help at all. I've had a run where Japan put quite a few units in mengukuo for no reason and tied up my units there. And another run where Korea was well defended. My 10 width cavalry that was suppose to run down to the ports just got stuck there forever. I've had a few runs where i got lucky and pushed them out but got no peace deal. I've also had a run where I joined the united front, nat china accepted the peace deal and the map reverted to what it was like at the beginning of the game. Normally it goes well at the beginning when the buff is active. My 9/1 infantry could push or at least stand their ground. But after the buff wears off i start to have huge deficit in equipment and Germany and Italy only gives me hundreds of guns, if any. I have to admit there are times when I screw up myself like deploying units that are meant to create a fake deficit to attract more lend lease or forgetting to train the deployed units and trying to fight with green units. But in general I just feel like I'm very unlucky in my manchukuo runs.
Ah, here’s the thing about beating Japan in China. Don’t expect to. I don’t micro, I don’t really care how well I do. My naval invasion of Japan is the only thing I care about. I micro the hell out of that. If I don’t win quickly in China, that’s fine because Japan will keep putting troops on that front instead of inside japan. You’re going to lose a lot of men to convoy raiding, but that’s fine, hold, then push, then hold again. Eventually you’ll get it, especially when the USA joins the war.
I have tried many others strategies but with this one I win the war and conquer Japan in my first run. This strategy works perfect, and this UA-camr is amazing. I think with the new DLC AAT maybe we can do it even more easy.

I believe what happened at the end with the Axis dissolving is Germany got access to the Treaty of Brussels decision
In all of my hours I didn’t even know that was something that happens. First and only time seeing that.
This is so hard to do as Manchuko, I do have a save but its so microintensive that it is painful
Im currently doing this challenge right now, its October of 1941, since my autonomy level was so high and I never joined the war Japan lost east heibei and mengkukuo and ~8 Japanese divisions are currently fighting for survival in the gobi desert, im currently bogged down in kore and all the submarines I made were sunk by the japaneese and my naval invasion failed spectacularly
This tutorial need a rework because with de new DLC the limit for lend lease is 70% world tension, and because of that Japan can’t send me weapons and convoys. I hope you can help me, thanks for your work.
i think there used to be a white peace but it got bugged in BBA. every older guide ive seen for this they rush down korea and menguko and get a white peace then can fight the united front.
I think it has to do with if the RoC agrees or denies the white peace. If they agree, PRoC gets the event as does Qing. I personally like not getting the white peace because then I can yoink the Japanese navy and invade the UK (you don’t have to for the achievement, I just can’t stand someone else having some of my core states). You can technically just do the “subjugate Japan” focus and if they agree, you can get their fleet when you puppet annex them, but I know I can beat Japan via this videos strat so I won’t leave it to RNG.
The focus for restoring the Chinese Empire seems also bugged. The leader will lose the "Nationalistic Symbol" trait after becoming emperor.
I can never get naval supremacy, I had around 12 submarines and got only 1% feelsbad
You shouldn’t be launching after declaring war. You need to send that navel invasion like 7 days before the focus ends. Because Japan is your ally, you’ll be able to launch it. Just make sure it’s not on a port, otherwise it cancels. The tiles around a port is fine.

They’re usually convoy raiding or on strike force because of china and there’s no way you’ll be able to gain any upper hand. Japan is always ready ahaha.
