In this hearts of iron 4 video, I tried to play as historical Poland and survive against both the Ussr and Germany at the same time. I use all DLC up to BBA (By Blood Alone).
Idk if the subs are OP as much as the AI is incompetent: if they built destroyers with sonar and depth charges this probably wouldn’t work.

Channel changes. the 25 days of Tibbsmas made me realize how boring my videos can be sometimes. Ive been watching a lot of harvestz, and i really like how he tells stories, and i want to try that but with hoi4/victoria3. more narrative based, and less letsplay. also theres like 100 letsplay paradox youtubers and as far as i know, no one tells narrative stories, so that will hopefully help me stand out more. theres more announcements to come, but thats the gist.
@thetibbiesshow Fair enough. For what it's worth, your style makes you the most affable hoi4 youtuber imo, and it's why I subscribed. That, and the fact that you're an enlightened democracy enjoyer. It ain't my channel though, you do you. Looking forward to your new stuff. best thing for commandeer civ trains is if you have a nation where stability isn't an issue, say you get monthly stab or a massive bonus to stab, you can do commandeer just till the decision would go away, research armored, then commandeer again, for some reason the game resets your train count even though technically all that happened was you updated your most up to date train design, you can repeat this over and over for each train type afaik, but doing so would only be good if you get monthly/weekly stab and no major stab debuffs.

Don’t need to. General grinding is more of a multiplayer thing. Very unnecessary in single player.

The shell shocked modifier is lost as soon as you go to war (with Belgium). I therefore consider the focii that help you get rid of it a little bit sooner not worth taking. For the rest, I'm 10 min into the video and really enjoying your play- and presentation style! Edit: seems some update added a condition to remove shell shocked spectator before you can get claims on Belgium, so ignore my advice.
