Love this love this love this. Congrats to all the competitors. I’m 44 and will be competing in the 100 and possibly 200 meter. Training really hard as well.
Im not a sprinter however looked like she started to slow up at the end So close to sub 60 Im 53 years old and im around 75 seconds These ladies are amazing
Wonderful announcing and commentary by Peter Matthews! Sad to read about his recent passing. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport enhanced so many event broadcasts/videos.
OH WOW 😃, THOSE MATURE SPORTY PENSIONERS WERE SO CUTE 💙💚❤. WHAT AN AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT 👍, I'M AN OVERWEIGHT 59yr OLD GUY & I DON'T THINK EVEN I COULD RUN 400 METERS 🙂.
dont know if you guys cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my brother recently :)
LOOKED LIKE THE WINNER SLOWED WITH ABOUT 5 -7 METERS TO GO . IF SHE HAD HELD HER PACE IT WOULD HAVE BEE 58 / 59 SECONDS . STILL A GREAT TIME AND WIN THOUGH
What a GREAT RUN! (The more names in the name the faster the running?) Sarah Louise Read Cayton : SLRC Keep it up as I am beginning at age 75 as a Mature Master Miler (>75) - Stephen Ethridge (you can call me 1. steve 2. frisko or 3. My money making D/B/A : "TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE." ) BLESSINGS ALLWAYS in these trying times.
Because they are worn out and they already proved themselfs with their best times i think that just watching yourself get slower times would discourage as the years went on even if you were still fast
So many reasons the motivation has to come from the enjoyment as there is not big real support for masters by federations (esspecially in UK) so you can guarantee these athletes love activity, fitness and their sport. Motivation has to be an issue for any, having support teams, travel and finance sorted for you your whole career then having to do it all yourself would be shock to some plus it may not ever compare to running with the eyes of the world and packed stadium on you. You have to want compete for the sake of it and win for sake of winning and that's different to seeing as your job.
You know, after you retire you probably don't want to do what you've been doing all your life. When professionals retire, it's so because they want to focus on career and family, not to perform on the trwck again - only this time with no money nor fame. You can just never retire, it happens sometimes. You will not be barred from performing simply if you are past 35. But the Masters' sport is underfunded and not quite as famous, so what would be the point?
"Women we hope to get close to" made mention here takes me back to when I was fellowshipping with Holy Mary the Queen of earth and heaven when I was in 2nd grade. This pertaining to the knowledge of things. With this being comment 73 it's prophetic for Isaiah 7:3 and the day I was born 7-3-76. With this Isaiah 7:3 and it's mentioning of Fullers Field with prophetic the I in Isaiah is prophetic for the flag pole. The FF is prophetic for the flag flapping on the flag pole in the wind. This pertaining to our American flag! Terrill TC!
This goes to show you that you do not have to be old and out of shape. I look at the 20 year old women and what a disappointment. Fat and terribly out of shape.
These Master’s track videos are fantastic. A lot of people not afraid of competing at any age!
I didn't even know there is a global competition like this. My respect to all these athletes
Me too I’m amazed
The winner would have gotten 6th place in the MEN'S race for Masters Age 50 for the 400. That's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When your mum ❤️ is faster than you are in your prime.😮 What amazing athletes!
Congrats to these Master's Track Athletes. Thank you for the coverage. Age happens it is better to age gracefully like this group.
Love this love this love this. Congrats to all the competitors. I’m 44 and will be competing in the 100 and possibly 200 meter. Training really hard as well.
They all had a great race. Bravo!!
Im not a sprinter however looked like she started to slow up at the end
So close to sub 60
Im 53 years old and im around 75 seconds
These ladies are amazing
You are also amazing!
You can get faster. Do it.
I'm 51, and I'm about three minutes...
@@BadgerBotherer1 at least there is a time for you :D
They had been pro or elite athletes in the past for sure...amazing anyway. Is mrs Cayton +50..? Really? OMG...
this is amazing and a pleasure to watch!!! I wish there were more races like this. I can only hope that in some decades I can be like them.
Wonderful announcing and commentary by Peter Matthews! Sad to read about his recent passing. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport enhanced so many event broadcasts/videos.
Great job ladies very impressive!
They all look great and have healthy weights !
You can tell these ladies have taken care of themselves. No drinking or smoking. They all look so healthy.
Definitely not a vegan
gianna looks like she got hit by a truck
Ng Jin Han What are you on about. There are many top athletes who are vegan.
@@Hanz2280 Definitely you ale supid :D
You dont know if they drink and smoke or not but, one thing for sure they have stayed in shape
Simply amazing!! 👏🥰 These are role models here. God bless you all.
Wow amazing! at that age they ran so fast and very energetic.
in a good shape this womans, not to believe that they are over 50
Yeah, it's nutty. But I suppose it doesn't matter as much when you're one of the finest athletes in the world!
Amazing run to clock 60 secs for 50+ women. They are an inspiration to senior folks.
Deberían de poner fotos de antes y el después es una idea 💡🤷
Великолепно!
Great job ladies!
'A place in the sun' brought me here 😊
Beautiful woman look at this age!!!!!
they are still attractive looking ladies.
Yes, they are.
Rather scrawny for my taste.
@@BadgerBotherer1 ... and what is your 400 time ?
OH WOW 😃, THOSE MATURE SPORTY PENSIONERS WERE SO CUTE 💙💚❤.
WHAT AN AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT 👍, I'M AN OVERWEIGHT 59yr OLD GUY & I DON'T THINK EVEN I COULD RUN 400 METERS 🙂.

Damn 1min @ 50yrs female? Very impressive!! Cayton ran the smartest race by far. Most of the others went out too hard.
Well, as a Masters athlete (swimmer), let me tell ya - the brain says, "Yeah - of course!" until your body says, "Nuh!"
Enjoyable funny commentary.
Most of these women still look pretty attractive despite their ages
Cayton from GB is an absolute fox. And a 60s 400m at age 50?
Cayton...a beautiful stride...a looker too!
Tutti i cognomi pronunciati sbagliati!
Champions!!

Why don't any ex professional athletes compete in the masters
Because they are worn out and they already proved themselfs with their best times i think that just watching yourself get slower times would discourage as the years went on even if you were still fast

Lots of ex-pro's run masters competitions, you just don't hear or see them on network television.

I probably have more body fat on my left ass cheek than was present on that track. Those ladies looked fit.
I met Renee through a mutual friend! Real cool people!
I went to high school with her, she was an amazing sprinter then and I'm so impressed that she still looks the same.
All are winners.. No loser here..

Me encanta ver estas viejitas corriendo tan bien 👍

They all look about 35.
Lol I would have run that race when I was 13
When your mom is faster than you... 😒
ouch i guess, women having their age announced. i guess a worse, having their weight broadcasted also
Like jogging
Почему тупые судья смеются
False start.LOL.
Katharine Merry: "I'm 10 or 15 years younger" - How bad at maths do you have to be? In any case, you're 41 so you're nine years younger.
Some of these women are well over 50.
