I was blessed enough to meet Johnny in 2001, and he was such a sweetie. I have a pic of the 2 of us on my dresser. And God Bless Sid & Marty Krofft. and RIP Anissa Jones.

I just loved Family Affair. I was so hurt when I heard that Buffy had died from an overdose of drugs. She was such a great actress. RIP Buffy. By the way I bought Mrs. Beasley at a convention I went to. She was very expensive but she is worth it. Now every time I see her I think of Buffy.
Every child actor I met they weren't kids they were all adults, Johnnie Whitaker, Johnny Crawford RIP, Tommy Kirk Old Yeller, Beverly Washburn Old Yeller, Lauren Chapin Father Knows Best, Brandon Cruz Courtship of Eddie's Father and many more. When I went to see them at different time I always had a vision of them as kids and when I got to see them my wife would say, there Jonnie Whitaker and I would say where.
At this time Johnnie was a great looking man!

Johnny got on drugs there for awhile but he's cleaned up since then ...and looks great. Marty always fascinates me. It would be fun just to be his limo driver.

I got into family affair a few years ago. I wish they would have shown reruns in the 90s when I was a kid. It's a wholesome show and every episode has a good life lesson. A show where men were men.
Try to name 1 network show with a positive white male father? From Homer to Al Bundy...father's are made to look like idiots. Hollywood has allot of influence on our culture and prejudices. They groom us at least a decade ahead of their goals.

Did she ever. On one show she and Charlie had Mary Hart and John Tesh as guests. The guys made sure their legs were in full view.
nauort23 He wasn't boasting, lol. He's said that on more than one occasion as a joke, probably for the very reasons you're talking about. At least the ones I assume you are both talking about since neither he nor you gave any specifics.
I wouldn't have boasted about being "the man who gave [Jody Foster] her first on-stage kiss," unless you want to take the credit for what ensued. lol yeah, I know it doesn't work that way.

There's NO WAY he speaks five languages. He was on drugs for a LONG time, and he may have been on them during this interview. I've met him, and he's extremely conservative in his political beliefs, and smelled a bit racist to me.
Which one? Sad to hear 😢
