I don’t want to see as if I don’t really have faith in the Bible or in the word of God, but there are some things in the back of my mind that really does make me concerned about what is in the Bible. My only concern is that most bibles are not the entire story of God and all of the people who heard of Him and of Jesus Christ in that era. It’s hard to believe that in a time like that, only forty people wrote about the events that happened and talked about it. I know in the Catholic Church, the Vatican chose what manuscripts and what authors were included in the Bible. I know that in the case of Jesus Christ’s childhood and his time growing up, the Bible only mentions his childhood a handful of times, even though he was known to visit the city and interact with people. It could be to condense the Bible to only the word of god, but I still feel that if we were able to see how Jesus Christ lived as a child to see how we could be more like him and understand a little more. It’s that kind of absence of the full story that makes me want to know more about those lost manuscripts that were omitted and know the filtering system they used to decide the authors and what to put in the book. I’m hoping that someone here can help me clear my doubts and concerns about this.
Well to start, there were more than 40 people that wrote and talked about Jesus and the rest of the Bible, there were lots of churches that Paul wrote to, do think that they didn't talk about Jesus? Secondly I can also relate to feeling like part of Jesus' life is missing in the Bible. I was talking with my dad about if Jesus had a sense of humor, because there was never any "humor" in Jesus' recorded life in the Bible, but I think it would be safe to assume that He did ;) He was fully human, and I don't think you can be human without even a little bit of humor lol. Same goes for Jesus' early life, we all lived one, and there are some mentions of it in the Bible. I would agree with you that it kinda takes away the purpose of the gospel. His early life is not as important as the cross, burial and resurrection. Hope that helps. :)
Bible says not to have pork...not to consume alcohol...adultery prohibited...not to make tattoo...and above all that God is one... Jesus himself said that he can't do anything without the help of the father in heaven...and church teaches the opposite...by giving their own references from the bible....why???
Jesus also declared that all foods are clean in the new testament, Jesus also said he and the father are one, jesus had to be made alittle lower than the angels in order to come here to earth in an earthly body to pay for the sins of the world and also had to be born under the law in order to accomplish what he was sent here to do. there is One God, but I believe God also consist of body, soul and spirit, a trinity, we were made in Gods image, and we are in a sense a trinity as well, body, soul, and spirit. We dont lean on our own understanding, so yes there is only One God, but don't presume to put God in a box in your head, the things of God are unknowable in their entirety and theres just some things we were never supposed to know while in this decaying body. Some things we want know until we are in heaven/the kingdom.
Well according to 32 christian scholars backed by 50 cooperating domination, they say there are 50,000 contradictions and errors in the bible with grave errors that it must be called for a revision. How can the bible be a book of God if there are mistakes in it?

But they were the scholars of the HIGHEST eminence not just regular scholars...i had researched there are errors such as Deuteronomy 34:10 says Moses saw God but exodus 33:20 say no one can see God...psalms 104:5 says earth does not move...genesis 2:17 says whoever ate the forbidden fruit will die...but Adam didn't die...revelations 7:1 says the earth was flat...King David who was the prophet of God had sex with a married woman then got her pregnant then killed her husband 2nd Samuel chapter 11

If you are truly interested in hearing answers to the contradictions and variants in the bible, I would recommend looking up Pastor Mike Winger's videos on the topics here on youtube. They're kind of long, but it seems like a small price to pay for the truth.
@@jonathanfuentes9162 my point exactly and even Dr Bart Erhman said that there are more differences in the manuscripts than there are total number of words in the bible...thats is why I would recommend a person who is open minded to read the Quran as there are 0 errors or contradiction be it regarding science, biology, astronomy or whatever...cos if a holy book was written by men, there are bound to have mistakes in it

Just as Jesus discarded the teachings of Judaism, Jesus would also discard the teachings in the Bible and start anew. Too much of the Bible has been distorted, misunderstood and incorrectly reported; why put new wine into old wineskins.
The Bible is Gods book Gods word comes to us from the interpretation of said book by whatever church you go to. How many religions all of them saying where the only ones with the truth? It took King James 11 years I think to make his VERSION not TRANSLATION every church in England was in his ear screaming their beliefs he constantly had to change and rewrite scripture to appease the masses and God help us this is considered the most accurate Translation King James called it His version Now scholars have been trying to disprove the history in the Bible for years they can't it's been proven true time and again. The Bible warns us it will be tampered with it's telling us it can't be trusted 100% Hitler was a staunch Catholic I've seen Video of him going to mass anybody can twist scripture to fit there beliefs. but God did promise us his word would remain true what that means is there is at least one religion out there that God has chosen to keep his word pure. There is only one religion where you can attend any of their church's in the world and you will here the same message can anybody guess what the one true religion is?
You say the bible is true but do not understand what Jesus means when he says that the wife in Matthew 5:32, who is innocent of premarital fornication or adultery, is caused to commit adultery and whosoever marries her also commits adultery. What is so difficult about understanding that Jesus says not to marry someone who is divorced?

The Bible is the written Word of God. Jesus is the Living Word of God. It is progressive revelation.
