Making NEUROHOP! // Music Production with Neddie

Around halloween, I set up a contest where I sent in a few samples,
and the members in my discord server could take that sample
and remix it however they want. The winner of that contest is SuMic, and one of the prizes was that he was able to give me a video idea that I would do for him. His video idea was to make Neurohop, which is a mix of glitchhop and neurofunk. So that's exactly what we'll be doing today. So shoutout to Sumic for winning!

How come your drums are so clear in midst of those over the top kind of basses? Is there any video where you've explained that? I'll look. My sidechaining works too but it's half assed i guess and drums never sound as clear as yours are sounding.

I usually just try to get them as loud as I can without them clipping, that tends to do the trick. Sidechain is super important so make sure it's about as long as a kick/snare would last, and that should give them the punch you're looking for
