Yoooo Nitro Fun liked it holy crap, thanks for the inspiration Neddie this is my favorite genre of music, and basically what got me into music production :) I've got a long way to go but this video has given me a ton of ideas
YES! THIS!!! why has this style of the genre died down so much, even electro house as a whole is not as hype anymore. Most of the artists moved away form this primitive sound design and moved into a more professional sound design approach with a more softer and digestible sound and more mature composition for mainstream listeners, moving away from the hype 2016 'gamer'-audience sounds as I would call it. This sound is so nostalgic and encouraging to me though. It's the reason why this genre is one of my top 3 favorites. I'm happy someone acknowledge this sound from this era finally!
I don't wanna boast or anything(Yeah I do), but I'm producing electro house and dubstep like it's still 2017 and I will start releasing music soon, my channel is currently filled with outdated stuff but stay tuned if interested :P
ay thank you!! if you're seriously considering it just know that a quick workflow is not ableton specific hahhaha, I've seen people make full songs in FL in like 20 minutes :)
hello neddie! here’s some complextro tips from someone who made producing complextro their life for a few months LOL. i know VR uses a saw-sync lead for the lead on his supersaws and this is good for a few reasons, mainly because using the same supersaws preset as your lead can make it blend in a little too much with the chords and not stand out as much using a preshifted clap makes all the difference in complextro, because having something that leads into the snare can make it punchier hope this helps, sorry if i’m too annoying lol
im 30 and i distinctly remember Mord Fustang "The Electric Dream" as a defining track of 2011. it kinda defined the arrangement template for all of complextro moving forward. before that though, we had Wolfgang Gartner "Illmerica", and I think that was the original birthing point for complextro. Illmerica has a certain bloghouse energy that's super special to me. It captures the feeling of mid 2000's trash electro like Cyberpunkers, Le Castle Vania, and The Toxic Avenger
I'd love to see more of the actual sound design side of things since that's probably my main weak point rn, I don't like using too many pre-made samples/loops/presets since it doesn't feel like something I've made anymore, I'm fine with a few but too many ruins the fun for me
This video made me so happy, watching you work on it like it's a puzzle, filling the pieces one by one and getting excited when it works is so precious to watch. Love your stuff man, keep it up💜
Complextro has actually had a resurgence recently sorta with artists like xaev. It's a lot more modern sounding now and heavier imo but still fun. You should check them out.
Back when I dj'd in 2010-12 i played out so much complextro. Such a great genre. Darth & Vader, Dirtyloud and the OG complextro god Wolfgang Gartner were my faves. Cool to see others still enjoying it.
First time here in your channel and I already like what you did ngl this track is really bring back a lot of nostalgia in those times Not just the track that made but the second drop is really made me hype Please make this a full release
HOLY SHIT this music was my whole childhood !! I used to listen to this music ALL the time, especially while I was drawing ridiculous ocs haha. Great video !
@@newzealandexists I'm sorry to came out like that, but to be real, if a person became "broken" because they started a relationship, why do that in the first place?
Hey Neddie, could you reveal what the sub preset you used here contains? I struggle with designing this type warm sub bass and this would help me out greatly
How can you pull things like everything so quickly? I have to sit down through my 10 minutes mental process everytime I make a move. Is there any advices that can be given to take action faster? Cause I'm pretty much numb in music production.
should change your name to nuttie because how fast you work blows my mind. so decisive and when something isnt working you dont get stuck on it/instantly figure out why its not. the creative flow is so on point
I think complextro is a lot more stompy and energetic than electro house, and also as the name suggests, far more complex than electro house. The main one for me is how energetic it is tho
complextro has a lot more complex sounds and flows with glitchier sound design and an influx of different sounds besides just growls like electro house
Nice!
OH HI THANKS NITRO FUN
Now we just need Virtual Riot and Tokyo Machine
Dude🫡

Te amo Nitro Fun
The chord progression is making me ascend
neddie should make a full dubstep drop with ZERO frequency shifter
I'm not gonna lie that is extremely easy for me 😂 cool idea tho
@@NeddieOfficial you sure? gotta try it first
@@NeddieOfficial that's kinda not true

Neddie has mastered every challenge given
Now it’s time to make a dubstep drop with NO BASS
that's a really cool idea 😳

The preshift snare is such a good idea!
thank you Justice for inventing pre-shifted claps/snares and nobody else 🙏
the nostalgia hit me hard
