I got Nanuck hard/rolling case for one of my FX3s and (video) primes and a Bevis Gear for my A1 (which is used more for photography with my zoom lenses) I’m looking at the Peak Design for my 2nd FX3 and my two longer (85mm and 135mm) Samyang lenses… or to stuff my A1 and an FX3 with zooms for travel. All in all, it’s great to have great bags/cases to go with top cameras and lenses!

Omg. You are absolutely correct. I just found those. Thank you so much for the note. I will update this video! I can’t believe I missed that after using the pack for the last 6 months 🙃

Around 12:58 you mentioned that the Nomatic doesn't have a hip belt, but almost every other review I've seen has mentioned and shown the detachable hip belt for the Nomatic. Just sharing.

I’d love to have you title a thumbnail for Digital Nomads. One marketing strategy that would provide you more exposure and views with an A B test should you want to help people like me.
My first trip for expecting 3-4 years so I had a backpack and suitcase. When I went to China in 2014 I went with one bag for 3.5 years.
This trip is a 1 way ticket to Costa Rica and if business goes well I can continue my Digital Nomad journey. If not, I still want to travel abroad with normal clothing except for 3 extra shirts as if 8-9 days instead of 7.
2 Digital Nomad channels suggest Peak and Osprey. Patagonia is interesting but not as satisfying safety for my laptop.

Thanks, Sean - no one does these comparisons better than you! Surprising to me that given the size of these packs, 2 out of 3 of them have no hip belt. Really? Packs from FStop, Shimoda, Nya-Evo, LowePro, etc all have hip belts, even in the smaller sizes. Not sure what those designers are thinking 🙂. Hope your foot is doing well, my friend!

Hey Paul! Thank you for the nice note and great insight. I need to check out FStop and the other brands you mentioned. Lowepro sent over a smaller pack that we rare reviewing as well. Agreed on kind of confusing on the lack of hip belts given the size (and weight of the gear!)

@@Engearment Hey Sean, yea those brands are more for 'backcountry' uses - hiking, split boarding, etc. Your kind of activities 😉. I have a 30L Shimoda (and have used FStop and LowePro), and it's great for travel (fits in overheads on most airline jets) and it hikes well. Best, Paul
