Hi, thanks for review. I got this from BestBuy for 450 bucks, 485 bucks including taxes and hasn't arrived yet. The model is *15-fb1013dx* here. First off, you said that it was DDR4 memory whereas in fact it has *DDR5* memory with 8 GB 4800 mhz RAM? Secondly, at 10:30, as this model is told to have 144 Hz screen, why is Windows refresh rate showing 60 and 40 hz options falsely, which misses 144 hz option there? Maybe your model number is different such as *15-fb1000ni* and my guess that has only 60 hz panel? Finally, it has *7535HS* but the title says 7530HS which appears to be wrong. Edit: Video owner corrected title as 7535HS. Thanks :) Regards.

@@TechGuyBeau Thanks
Why does mine over heats alot it gets up to 90c cpu on games and its brand new , i don't have omen software, idk if that's the problem.
While gaming, did you use 8gb ram or 16gb ram? Cause it seemed like the ram usage is only around 7gb. Also at 6:06 you said it's ddr4 but it's actually ddr5. Overall a very good video. I really like the amount of details you put in these videos 😊.
I installed 16gb before testing games
Hi folks, I have the pretty same model (Victus 15-fb1013dx with 144hz display) and getting random *VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR* blue screen, especially at times right after signing into Windows when the PC is not under any heavy load. BIOS is F.03. Ran plenty of Diagnostic tests in UEFI mode resulted with no error. Is there anyone having same BSOD error here?
Hi, in few benchmarks I've seen this laptop even going above 90, so how can this be a cooler laptop.
Bro ryzen 5 5600h with rtx 3050 vs ryzen 5 7535hs with rtx 2050 which is best combo
3050
When do these usually go on sale for 500ish CAD? Been looking at it pre-owned, but it would be nice to get it from a store at that price!
Great video ❤. May i know the complete details of the RAM, please.
DDR5 sodimm. The speed appears to run at 4800mhz max
What's the operating voltage?
Can you help me choose between hp victus 13th generation intel i5 ddr4 model or the above amd 7535hs ddr5 model ? I am looking for a future proof for like 3-4 years, mostly apps like blender and little bit of gaming
@techguybeau i bought this laptop recently..the gaming performance and battery life is pretty good but I'm facing one issue the refresh rate is getting changed to 60hz automatically..i need to change it to 144hz everytime when i open my laptop.. can you please help?
I don't know if you found your answer yet, but in case anyone else has this issue, you have to open Nividia/GeForce controls through the windows search bar, and in it you'll find different settings for gaming, among them the ability to set your preferred Refresh rate, fps cap, etc.
Is this good laptop good for longevity for more then 3 years or acer nitro V15 or Asus which has best performance and good build and doesn’t overheating last long time for gaming laptop and good battery life
Aún valdría la pena por unos $680 dlls? No he podido encontrarla mas barata en México
How would games such as rust, siege, sea of thieves and madden run on this those are the main games I’d be playing with this
They will run fine
do you have the link for the other stick of ram? thank you!
Does it have any noising wobbling issue? please reply... I am gonna buy a laptop and it's on my list
Hello. I was wondering if i could get the link you used to buy more ram? I was also wondering if i have to replace the stick that came with it. Thanks
How is the battery life for basic task?
I have that laptop I got it from best buy
Can you recommend to me a laptop to buy I want to use Lr Ps and Pr without any lagging with a good screen. My max budget is 500usd.
Does the caps lock button light up when you hit it?
Damn i wish we have this in the Philippines kinda sad. Maybe next year but idk about the price hike.
Sa Lazada, this model is available
Is it enough good for starting 3dmax and rendering and Autocad for a Art student?
Ordered it today after 2 weeks of research. Would have loved Thunderbolt 4 and shutter cam but still works as its a gaming laptop.
Speakers are good.
Also, fun to see you played Friday🤌🏼
Dude is it still good?
I'm not familiar with PC jargon.. How would u compare the victus graphics compared to ps5
The ps5 is superior. Absolutely
Does upgrading from 8gb to two 16gb sticks make a true difference???
Can you put the link to the ram you used to upgrade it
amzn.to/3PtyVVU
I have it on this list here
@@TechGuyBeau cannot open the link , what brand did u used
xD im trying to hit the 64gb ram model of it by USD858. I wanna know how much it differs from the 32gb (if there are significant changes at all). ps. import fee is like 200USD btw so its a thousand in total. Hope it doesn't disappoint
Great for the price.
Looks slick too.
Yeah I quite like the aesthetic
Hey, can you do an emulation test? Like gamecube/wii, wii u, switch, ps2... Plss
It won’t struggle with any of these. PS3 is there it would stay to struggle
I just bought a HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD 144Hz Display, AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 2TB PCIe M.2 SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050, HDMI, Webcam, Backlit Keyboard, Wi-Fi 6, Windows 11 Home, Silver. Will this work for video editing?
If you want to edit on 4K or even a higher quality, you will need a better GPU and CPU, but for Full HD videos, those specs will do very good.
Thanks :)
Regards.
UA-cam hid my comment for some unknown reason.
You said DDR4 but the label on that ram module says PC5 which is DDR5.
How long is the battery life for YT
/browsing?
Is this laptop better or msi modern 15 B7M?I'm confused about which one to take
Why do they only included 8GB of ram. So outdated and no second ssd slot in 2024 insane
do yu have the link to get the laptop in canada for cheap?
I got it from HP direct on a sale . Look out for back to school sales
dont judge but guys do you think this laptop can run roblox greatly on like high graphics or mid graphics?
